  Relaxing Stay

  Very nice hotel and well equipped room (kettle etc), very confortable bed, clean bathroom. Extra parking for the guests. There is no restaurant on site, but the possibility to have a snack behind the lobby (tasty soup), and also I ordered a lunch paquet for the next day. I recommend !

  Great location. Excellent accommodations.

  Bad Zwischenahn is my home town though it has been decades since I lived there. When I recently had to stay in Bad Zwischenahn for a family event, I decided to book this NordWest location for my wife and me. In a nutshell, we really liked this hotel. Everything from the room, the staff, the food, the location, everything was simply wonderful. The room was comfortable. While we had a balcony, we never got to use it since it was quite cold during our stay. The room was on the small side as many European hotel rooms are when compared to US accommodations. The bathroom was wonderful with ample room in the shower and ample counter space. The bed was comfortable though a bit awkward for a king size bed being that it was made up of two separate mattresses with individual duvet comforters; one for each person. Another highlight for us was the daily breakfast. A variety of food was available each day including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, a large choice of breads and rolls, jams, jellies, cereals, fruit, yogurt and much more. Each day the service was excellent. The free WiFi worked well with good signal strength. We will gladly stay here again the next time our travels require a stay in Bad Zwischenahn.

  Nice modern hotel

  Really nice hotel with modern clean rooms. Nicely located on a quiet street a short walk from the lake. Helpful staff and lovely breakfast. Only down side is the lack of restaurant but there are some close-by options.

  A bustle of worms/insects in cereal containers!!!

  Weve been on a month long road trip, stayed in 14 different places around Europe. This was sadly by far the worst experience. The room itself was basic and clean and we had a good night sleep. The hotel would have deserved 3 stars, unless... At breakfast I noticed my cereal cup was very busy with some kind of worms or insects!! The cereal was taken from a container, which obviously was packed with this live food. I called the waiter, who apologized and took the plate away. Next the manager (?) comes and Im asked to show which container (of the 8) I had used and they immediately took them away. Great. Except that they entirely forgot the customer. It was an appalling and disgusting experience and I would have expected someone to come and approach me later. To express that they are sorry, to offer something trying to make up for it, but no. Nothing. Nothing at all. We checked out 30 minutes later and the same lady who asked which canisters the cereal was from, was at the front desk. She mentioned nothing, no apology, in fact this was he only time at checks out I wasnt even asked how was the stay! Why? Because she did not dare, I bet, and decided to bury the issue. I could have said something, but it would have been her job. Not the customers. They already knew what had happened to me. I had nothing else to say to them. But for other travelers - they may clean the cereal containers from animals, but as long as the service and customer care is as inferior as it is, you dont want to waste your money here. The world - and the TripAdvisor - is full of options!

  Wonderful stay!

  Lovely hotel in a park like setting. Even though not air conditioned it was not as hot being near the lake. With the windows open, it was possible to sleep. Furniture was very modern and updated. Beds were comfortable and shower doors were really amazing. Very unusual design. Loved the outdoor patio, relaxing place to sit and visit. Thought breakfast was good. The hotel was very well kept and updated.
