  Beware...

  I realized after reading tripadvisor that there are several Noblesse Hotels. This review is specifically for the tourist hotel located in the Nowon district. I warn that it does not look like the photos of the other Noblesse hotels in Seoul posted by travelors. I was forced to stay at this hotel last minute since the we made reservations very very late (I was not in charge of this....) and all area hotels were booked solid due to the G20 Conference in Seoul. When I got to the room, I seriously wanted to cry. It was a bit dodgy and the two rooms I had to choose from smelled of cigarettes. I took the less stinkier room. My boyfriend and I later moved to the only suite in the hotel with a King bed when it became available which was better. It still smelled like cigarettes the first night we slept there. The smaller room we stayed in located on the 7th floor was pretty lousy and should have been cheaper than the 85 they charged us. There were some Chinese tourists down the hall who drank, smoked, fought and partied at night with their rooms open so it was very hard to sleep at night, not to mention the night club downstairs with loud booming music every night. The curtains were dingy and the bathroom in this room had a gross shower curtain. The maid we had for this room was very nice though and since I did tip her daily, she was very attentive and made sure to bring lots of towels and even gave us extra bedding. The temperature in this small room was horribly HOT and stuffy considering it was fall and in the mid 60's there. We had to get a fan from the front desk and the thermostat in the room was not adjustable. Even with the fan and windows open I was sweating. The King bed suite was a lot better but not worth the 120 they charged us either. We could have gotten a room in a 3 star hotel for 120 had they not all been booked. This room was quieter with a nicer bathroom but our window was above the subway tracks and you could still hear some noise from the nightclub downstairs. Still had dingy curtains. Supposedly there's a free American style breakfast included every morning but we never tried it and I preferred to get food or coffee at all the nearby eateries and cafes. The Lotte mall is just 2 blocks away and has an amazing food court on the lower level floor and I recommend it to tourists. Subway line is also just around the corner and the airport bus just 2-3 blocks away. There is free internet downstairs in the lobby on some old and probably virus contaminated computers since I kept getting error messages in Korean... Bottom line: Convenient location, crummy room and would not recommend anyone to stay here unless forced to....

  Good location

  This is a budget hotel in the area of Nowon-Gu, North Seoul. The room we had was not of the highest decor standard but it was clean, comfortable and @ £60/night decent value. The Nowon metro station is a minute's walk away and there are plenty of shops ( including a Lotte), coffee houses & restaurants around. Although the hotel is just off the main roads it does have an elevated train line along me side, fortunately not the side we were on.
