  Great spot for sundowners

  Visited during a self sufficient camping trip - friendly welcome and a great spot (sundowners on their balcony were a particular highlight). Rooms are simple but sufficient - they didn't have hot water due to a power issue and showers were hand held. Power issue also meant no chilled drinks - more of an issue than the ambient showers!! Nice spot - fine for a campsite but possibly a little basic as a lodge.

  Njovu's just a beauty

  Njovu is a very beautiful place with different forms of nature and an amazing view of the national park. The risen dining gives you a safe birds eye view of the national park accompanied by great meals and services. My stay at Njovu was spectacular.

  Low key and relaxing

  We stayed on the top floor of the thatched house. It was spacious with a great king sized bed and a view to the lake. The food was really good with very generous helpings. Katwe was a nice place to walk around the village and the countryside, but you need to be back before dark because of the wildlife. We saw elephants on our drive in and heard hippos at night. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing few days after safaring.

  Nice rooms, food could have been better.

  The rooms we had were really nice: good showers, well maintained and spacious. Location is good too. Beautiful views and the restaurants viewing deck is a great place to spot elephants and other wildlife. Staff is overly present; friendly, but made us sometimes feel a bit awkward. Food is okay, but a bit basic for the price. (We were unlucky; the second night we stayed there was an EXTREMELY loud party somewhere close by. lasted until 7 in the morning. staff didn't/couldn't do anything about it.. Other lodges around must have been disturbed by it as well?!).

  Nice place to relax/visit Q.E. National Park

  We stayed in the house (lower floor) at the end of the place. Nice, big room. Good hot water. Very attentive hosts. Quiet place with the animals from the park coming quite near if you are lucky. Restaurant above groundlevel; nice view. Next to Katwe-village. We went from there to the salt lake (very interesting trip; take a good guide with you, then you really understand the proces, and danger coming with it. We had the guide from EcoTourism-office in Katwe, but at the accommodation there is also a guide). Njovu is quite near one of the gates into Queen Elizabeth. If you want to take a boat at the Kanzinga Channel: we had a perfect trip (boat for the two of us, great guide) starting immediately next to the mainroad/bridge (=outside the park). We saw so many animals!! The trip from the other side of the channel (inside Q.E.) looked much less interesting to us.
