  The best holidays the last 20 years.

  Since 2014 we spend our holidays on West Crete in the beautifull Apokoronas area. We stay at Niriides Appartments in the village Almyrida two times a year. Short walk to tavernas /beach and good bus connection to Chania. Owner Mr. Nektarios and his team makes every holiday special for us. Clean spacious appartments and large swimmingpool in combination with personal service and a good conversation with a cold drink. Mr. Nektarios: thank you for the many unforgetable holidays!   Highly recommended

  The Niriides apartments is perfectly situated in Almyrida with local supermarkets next door and the busy beach road with all the bars and restaurants only 50m away. I have stayed in many hotels in Almyrida and none have beds as comfortable as Niriides apts so this will be the place of choice for me. The owner is extremely nice with a great sense of humour. If you want to relax by a lovely pool or wander 100m to the beach this the place to stay, nothing you will need is more than 200m away, supermarkets, chemist, coffee bar and restaurants are all here.

  Excellent Hotel and Service

  Just returned from 11 days in Almyrida at Niriides Hotel, a small 12 room Hotel, all good. We had a superior room overlooking mountains, quite modern with blue led mood lighting, 2 TVs, walk in shower/wetroom. Sofa bed and put-me-up bed were quite hard, but this didn't bother the kids too much. Room cleaned well every day , sheets & towels changed regularly. Host was very helpful and friendly as were all the staff. Pool area was well maintained and always clean and tidy. Can't think of any negatives about Niriides, can't wait to visit again.

  Incredible! Amazing! Perfect stay!

  This property was incredible! The location of the apartments is so close to the beach and local amenities such as the supermarket and bakery. Despite how easy it was to get to the restaurants and shops, the room was very quiet and you werent disturbed by any traffic noise. There was parking free right outside. The apartment had a beautiful big and comfortable bed with a modern but still rustic feel. The attention to detail with all the small lights was amazing! The kitchen provided all the crockery, appliances and equipment we needed. The bathroom was huge with an incredible powerful shower and huge mirror with sink! There was a safe, iron and hairdryer provided, all working well. The balcony was lovely to have breakfast on. The aircon was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly and the lady that cleaned our room was outstanding! She was so lovely and made sure we had fresh towels and bed sheets almost everyday! She changed our bath mat and tea towels whenever it was needed to be done and also mopped the floors so it was always spotless. The apartment was so clean! The pool was amazing and extremely clean. Such a big pool with comfortable sun loungers and parasols. The pool also saw the sun most of the day so it was nice and warm. We truly couldnt recommend this place enough! Also a massive thank you for the thoughtful touch of flowers, wine, raki and a card as it was our anniversary. This was so lovely!

  Great location

  Stayed here for a week earlier this month. Nektarios greeted us warmly when we arrived and escorted us to our room. There was a welcome hamper with a bottle of wine, raki, water, teabags, sugar and coffee - a very nice touch. Large twin room overlooking the mountain - very peaceful sitting on the balcony having a cuppa in the early mornings. There was washing lines and pegs on there too. The bed was the comfiest we have had anywhere in Greece - soft pillows too. The kitchenette had a fridge (with freezer compartment) and all the things needed for a holiday. (no toaster though). Washing up liquid and a teatowel was also supplied. There were plenty of plug sockets dotted around the room. The bathroom had a small shower but the water was hot and plentiful. There was a really powerful hairdryer and an iron in the room. Also had a TV and a safe. The pool was large, clean and warm. The beach bar wasn't open when we stayed. Zoe always had a friendly greeting each morning and kept our room ultra clean, changing the towels each day. The hotel was handy for the bakery across the road and near all the restaurants, bars and the beaches. All in all we had an excellent stay at the Niriides and would highly recommend. Hope to be back some day.
