  Not a great stay!

  We were very disappointed by this hostel, the only place we didn't like during our trip to Vietnam! The rooms were nice and clean, good showers too. However we found the staff extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. They also tried to charge us 800,00 to get to Trang An which we knew was ridiculous. We organised our own transport and paid 70,000. Breakfast was very basic. While the accommodation itself was fine, the staff did not have a good attitude and were really quite rude. Also this is more of a small hotel than a hostel and so there is no atmosphere or chance to meet people.

  Decent stay for the price

  Nice clean room with strong air con, a little smelly when we arrived but so is the local area, it went away after a few hours. Reasonably close to a strip of restaurants but feels slightly removed. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was tasty and for one night stop off it was perfect and cheap. Breakfast was tasty.

  Incredible place. Friendly. Helpful.

  Was a great place for a night or two. Absolutely no complaints about their service! Au$14 for a private room with a double bed. Au$5 to hire a motorbike for the day. My only dislike is that its out of the main strip and touristy part of town (as is stated in the name downtown).

  Close to everything

  I stayed at the Ninh Binh Family Hotel and I stayed in a insuite which was just amazing, it was super clean and cozy. This Hotel / Hostel is close to all the attractions around Ninh Binh, some closer than others as all offer different scenery. The staff which is family run does everything they can to make your stay memorable. In my case I had scratches on my leg which stained there beautiful white bed spread and sheats and they replaced it graciously for my second night. I also am driving my motorcycle and they have a garage next to the building which was more than convincing that it was safe. Also there breakfast was delicious! I recommend this Hostel....

  The best hotel in the area

  I stay here for 2 nights and the service of the team was amazing, always with a smile and trying to help you in all the things you need. The food was amazing and very clean rooms Definitly I will back soon!
