  Too expensive and too secluded

  We travelled over to ko samet for a couple of nights and booked this hotel because of the good reviews on booking.com. We paid £95 pound a night for a cabin which was absolutely extortionate has the cabin was outdated and shabby. The resort had NOTHING just somewhere to eat which was awful. The beach and surrounding area was shabby and unkept. There was nothing to do at night and it was in the middle of nowhere. The staff were unhelpful and it was extortionate to pay for a bhat bus to the next beach. White sands area was lovely but don't go here unless you want to be bored out of your tree. Will never go again.

  Quiet and comfortable cute cabins

  For a quiet and somewhat secluded stay on Koh Samet, this property is nearly ideal. The cabins look like they were designed by Hobbits (cute little colorful cabins in pink, purple, and other colors). The cabins have a bit of a special feel and look, and they're comfortable, clean and quiet. The only people at the beach are the guests of this property. The beach is one of the drawbacks, as the bay has small smooth rocks that guests have to step over to reach the sandy part of the shore. Another drawback is no wifi in the cabins, only in the restaurant. The other drawback for some people might be the isolation, but for others, that's the point. It's a good location to get away from the main Koh Samet crowds, and it's walking distance to the park at the southern tip with the best sunset views on the island. If you like to go into town or visit other parts of the island from here, it's worth it to rent a motorbike.

  Hidden Gem

  This place has everything to occupy the whole family! Canoeing, swimming, rock climbing, fishing and enjoying sunset. I felt like I own the beach. Peaceful, clear and clean water, food to die for. The staff were magnificent. The cottage was magical. I could live there for a month.

  So peaceful

  A delightful resort at the very southern tip of the island, away from the large crowds and bars and discos of the main areas. If peace and beauty is your thing this could be for you. Very cute spacious cottages. Excellent food choices for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is quite good but maybe more limited and Asian than some western folk might want - but we loved it. The staff are delightful. WiFi only in public area near bar and restaurant, but that is fine. As the place is far from anywhere you either need to be happy to just stay there or arrange taxis or motorbike hire to go to the main town. There are trips available from the resort such as snorkelling and sunset cruise etc. The resort has gorgeous hammocks and swings under shady trees by the edge of the sea. Perfect for reading and snoozing. The sea itself is rocky, so you do need beach shoes for going in. The water is clear and warm and fairly shallow, but you do have to walk over rocks / stones as you go in. So be prepared. We will go back. Loved it.

  nice and relaxed

  hotel is situated in a remote part of the island if your looking to get away from the hustle of city life this is ideal very quite nice views of the sea . you stay in bungalows most with seaview small but comfortable at night time nothing to do but sit outside your bungalow or sit at the restaurant . if you want night life its 7km away in samet town only by taxi which is expensive or you could hire a motorcycle if you feel brave
