    IT ONLY GETS BETTER

Our third visit to this idyllic resort and it only gets better, my son is disabled and this time we were greeted with a ramp to our room and one to the restaurant, what a relief no more assisting my son into the room or the restaurant, it gave him great confidence to be able to get around with his walker all by himself, I am yet to find a place that accommodates both the aged and the disabled whether it be overseas or in Australia, how can you enjoy yourself when you are at the beck and call of someone who deserves to have a great holiday but needs constant assistance, the rooms are huge so no bumping into furniture or people, shower recess perfect for whatever your health condition may be, next time I am going to try the jacuzzi - Nila Beach is that place, our room was spotless thanks to the new girl, as I have said before there are not enough adjectives to describe this resort - I wonder what next year will bring. Thank you to the Owner for his kindness and compassion.

Unexpected stay at Nila Beach Resort

After coming back from Village life on the Yasawas earlier than expected Nila was a great find. We initially visited the well known First Landing Resort but was turned off by the smell of artificial cleaning products and the noisy bar. Walking next door to Nila we immediately felt that this is a place we could relax and unwind. The villas are private and peaceful and decked out with comfortable bedding and temperature control- things that are especially valued after staying with a family on the islands! In contrast to First Landing, meals and drinks are reasonably priced. We chose an Indian meal for dinner and it was one of the best we had tasted. Meals are served on a wide veranda with views to the ocean. Breakfast was included and cooked to perfection.

    Perfect honeymoon location

Food is delicious at a reasonable price as well. Garlic prawn and duck curry is a must try!! This was our second time visiting this place and both times service was 10/10. Very luxurious, clean and beautiful place. Was very impressed with my honeymoon decoration and welcoming!

    Bad Surprise!

Nice bedrooms as in the ad, but that it! Nila Beach resort. Where is the beach? No beach to go and there is a small island that was no finished to be used! The decor inside the bedroom and bathroom are nice but the materials used are bad quality! We have been there only for 5 days and all this time the resort was only my bedroom and another one but they give us a bedroom with hand towel broken and no one came to fix it. They came to clean the bedroom around late afternoon and one day they change the towels and clean the glass used and another no. There is no patter in cleanness. There is no guide inside the room giving the rules of the resort. There is no wifi password and when you ask, the "manager/chef/receptionist", take your phone and types himself the password. the quality is so bad in common areas or bedrooms. Outside the bedroom is impossible to stay. The grass is full of sticks that go on your shoes and clothes. There is no umbrella or shade around the pool. The chair and table around the pool area are bad material and are all broken . The time to "CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST" was from 7:30 to 10. The first day I arrived to have and not was there. All closed. Then the "manager/chef/receptionist" came with a dish with some fruits cut saying he was going take my breakfast to my bedroom. It was not a Continental breakfast, you can not choose what you want and like eating. Only a dish with some fruits sliced, they bring you a mug with coffee, no skinny milk or almond mil, an omelet Indian style, 2 slices of toast and that it! I couldn't have one breakfast at local, the "manager/chef/receptionist" promised me next day pancakes, but when I asked the "chef" was not there that early time to do a pancake! One day I try to ask for some breakfast and the "manager/chef/receptionist" was not ready at 7:30 and just touch my shoulder with his hand and said. You are going to a island. have breakfast there they have one!!!! The restaurant is an Indian Style with some international cuisine as well. One day I arrived for lunch and ordered all the salads at international menu and they could not give me (the occidental chef was not there to do and the Indian chef could not cook international dishes)!!!!!! One night I asked for an Indian dish and asked with no chilli and the dish came with more spicy than normal! It was not eatable! Then I was starving and asked for a brownie with ice cream that it was at the menu and came 6 balls of chocolate ice cream! My stay at Fiji was unforgettable but this place is unbelievable!!!! I should ask for some money back for the "continental breakfast and to be a tester of my patience and help them to learn how to run a business!!!!!!! My suggestion is shut down to this place, go to learn how to have a resort not only for Indians but for everybody and try again! it is a shame !!!!
