  Old rundown hotel

  Stayed for 3 nights during my family vacation in December. Expensive rate for twin room in an old hotel that is due for extensive refurbishment. Poor guest service. Non existent concierge desk with front desk staff offering little or no help for sightseeing enquires.

  Great Service and Excellent Location

  We spent four nights there. We love it. If we come to Fukuoka again, we definitely will stay there again. Pros: - Excellent location: near hakata station (a hub for high-speed trains, trains, underground, etc.). You can go down the special elevator to the basement floor, and from there, walk through underground pathway to Hakata station (which is perfect during Winter/ rain). - If you want to rent a car, you can walk from the hotel to Orix car rental for only 5 minutes. - Room: quiet and clean. We think it is quite spacious. - Excellent service for all staffs (front, concierge, reception, etc.) - Breakfast: a good varieties, lots of veggies and fruits Con: a constructive feedback for the Management - The only thing we found it annoying is the long queue of Breakfast for Serena Restaurant (not a lot of people are eating at Japanese Restaurant for breakfast). There were two days that we had to wait more than 30 minutes. Thus, I think the Top Management should do something about it e.g. on the day that there are a lot of customers, please arrange it a way that you can accommodate your customers to eat Serena (e.g. convert other restaurant with the same type of food).

  Easy access to train station and airport

  I stayed there more than 10 times as this is the most convenient hotel for me. You can take taxi to airport but subway is also relaxing if you leave early in the morning, and it is located only 5 minute-walk from the Hakata station. The staff is very polite and professional, and the room is very clean and quiet. The only problem is you can not have breakfast if you take the first flight in the morning to Tokyo, but they are nice enough to prepare sandwich.

  old hotel but nice and clean

  Stayed there for 6 nights in Luxury Double Room. Bathroom is a bit outdated but I like how they change the shower curtain every single day. Room look older than the picture but hotel is situated in a very good location. Near the train station and just 2 stations away from the airport. Super clean like most of the other hotels in Japan and staffs are super nice and polite. Nice simple high quality breakfast with decent food choices. Will definitely come back and stay there.
