  The room was a bit dirty, the food acceptable

  Our room was on the terrace in the 2nd floor as NIKE hotel. As we checked in, the room was quite dirty, the dust is everywhere and there were some unexpecting roommates like insects. We told the owner of the hotel and he called the housemaid to clean it for us right away. The view from our terrace is very beautiful though. We also booked the room with breakfast and dinner. The breakfast is quite limited (boiled eggs, ham, some fruit and salad). The dinner was actually quite good but I would love to have nicer dessert, not only frozen ice cream and fruit, some pudding or Panna Cotta would be nice. During our stay, we always hung out at the bar. The guy at the bar ignored us, we tried to call him (waved also) but we had to wait almost 30 mins until he noticed us eventhough there were not a lot of customers (3-5 tables probably) I wouldn't recommend this hotel, unless one day it would be renovated.

  NIKE HOTEL LAKE GARDA

  Booked with National Holidays. Very disappointed. Clean rooms but to get to the restaurant for meals had to go underground across the road with several steps up and down No good for infirm people. Lounge closed. No Bar Unless you were on top floor no view of the Lake. Other floors the view was the back of hotel opposite. Drivers of National Holidays complained but nothing done. Would not stay again,

  Avoid at all costs

  Went with National Holidays- This was deffinatly not the hotel advertised, Dirty rooms, ants galore, towels not changed only one power socket in the bathroom of all places, had to walk to another hotel for food which was very basic/minimal served to 30/40 people by only one very abrupt unhelpful lady. The only plus point for this hotel is the magnificent views across Lake Garda, be warned not all rooms have a good view some have a lovely view of a weedy overgrown dark embankment.

  OMG this hotel makes faulty towers look like the Ritz!

  I have just returned from a holiday staying at this hotel and all i can say is thank god! I have never stayed in anything like it in my life. I write this review to make sure others dont waste their hard earned money. The hotel which is advertised as being run by a friendly family is the total opposite. This consists of the owner who is rude and arrogant, his wife, who looks like she needs certifying and two sons, one which is more sociable the other, pretty much like his father. There are four waitresses in total who sometimes work alone to serve the whole dining room whilst being watched at all times my the owners wife! The atmosphere amongst the staff if embarrassing and leaves everyone on edge. If youre a German tourist then youll be fine .. Youll get 3* service where as we got -1* On arrival, If your British you will be ushered to a building where for 1 time only, the reception and lounge are open. After that it is out of bounds! We were lucky to be on the 2nd floor so we did have a slight view to the right and left of the lake, forward view was the roof of the nikes sister hotel. The rooms are dated, dirty and the beds are more of a camp bed style than a bed we would accept. There is one pillow and sheets with holes in them. There is a 70s style tv on the wall, which apart from it not turning on it is so high on the wall you would need physcio on your neck after youd watched it! We had a small cupboard which had a door that came off in your hand when opened and a socket that came out the wall when you pulled your plug out. The bathroom was clean but the towels were not changed in 4 days. Dinner was at 7pm and that meant 7pm not a minute earlier! To access this you had to go to the sister hotel via 2 flights of stairs, an unkempt underpath and another 2 flights of stairs under the road. No good at all for elderly people or the infirm, unless the want to risk crossing the busy road instead. If your German, you will be placed around the dining room with the full attention of the staff, if your British, you will be placed in the centre on three long tables. Meals were brought out sparadicaly so some people on the same table had finished their meal where others were still waiting to be served. Food was a mismatch, somethings were ok others were not but that is personal choice. We had booked through National Holidays and were offered a 3 hour free bar, the free bar only consited of wine, beer and soft drinks and they made sure those drinking didn't take advantage by filling up glasses constantly rather than allowing them to drink a full glass. The hotel has an indoor pool which was freezing cold and when the children went in it to play were told by the manager to be quiet as theyre disturbing the guests in the rooms above (again, the german guests). There is a small semi circle of shingle which is classed as a beach but unless youve taken your own chairs to sit on expect to sit on stones, nothing provided. I would avoid this hotel at all costs, dont waste your money because i dont believe anyone would be satisfied (unless youre German). Avoid disappointment

  Do not stay at this hotel

  Went with National holidays(never again).Very dissapointing,towels amd bed sheets not changed,uncomfortable beds with ripped sheets.Only good thing was the view over Lake Garda.The reception was only open for check in no other time during our stay.The owners were very rude,ignorant and aggressive with quite a few of the British guests, ok if you were german.The waitresses did their best but were nervous and scared under the constant scrutiny from the owners wife.The food was not traditional italian but very bland and tasteless.Do not waste your hard earned money staying at this hotel.I would`nt stay here again even if it was free!!!!
