This was our seventh visit to Nigi Nigi Too

This was our first visit since the closure and we weren't sure what to expect. The hotel has been leased to a Chinese company and a lot of things have changed. The cocktail bar has been demolished and there is no happy hour any more. One of our favourite things to do was sip a cocktail or two sitting in the sand watching the sunset. We had our normal upstairs room but the front of the building had been demolished and new circular steps put in on the ocean side. These were extremely steep for an older person. Breakfast, which used to be fantastic, has been reduced to a Spanish omelette although we were able to talk them into fried or scrambled eggs occasionally but there was nothing else apart from toast and two weeks of eggs became extremely boring. Chinese music was played all day in the new Chinese restaurant directly opposite our room. Part of the cleanup was the removal of loungers from the beach front of the hotel. Because of this, we had to lay on a towel on the sand. You can get shade from the palm trees but we feared being whacked by a falling coconut. After I returned to Australia, I had to visit the doctor for a skin rash and itch. It was diagnosed as Cataneous Larva Migrans apparently caused by the larvae of the tapeworm biting me whilst laying on a towel on the sand where a dog probably defecated at some stage. DO NOT LAY ON THE BEACH. Apparently this is extremely rare and unknown of in Australia, only in people who have travelled to other countries. We have booked a return visit at a resort which has enough space to have off the ground loungers with sun covers. Despite this, we will continue to travel back to our happy place and the best beach in the world. Another bonus is the lovely nature of the locals, some of whom have become like family to us.

    On the beach living

It's not a luxury resort, but it's right on the beach and the service and food was good. I would stay there again. I highly recommend it, if you want to be right on the beach. I liked the location as it was not very crowed like the other place.

    Don't even think about it

I'll make it short, just imagine how nasty was the room that next day we moved to next door hotel, if you like nonstop Chinese music, room with no amenity but full of bugs , don't forget to take towels with you no towels provided, then it's your place. This pictures are from some croling bugs right above the bed .just some of them.

    Visit january 2020 5 nights

Nice location near the beach. Friendly hard working staff. Food/breakfast/bar: average/poor. The room was not made up any day. Next time I will look for another hotel in same area. Advise:Book only one night so you have the opportunity to change hotel if you are not satisfied with the hotel quality. The first room near the kitchen was a disaster! Ole

Wonderful stay at Nigi Nigi too

We spent 2 days in a premier room with balcony and ocean view just in face of the groto. The room is large nice and clean. The view is just Amazing. The staff is very kind and helpful. They Can provide whatever you need. The restaurant is also very good. We recommend Nigi Nigi Too if you have the chance to visit Boracay.
