  Better than I 1st thought!!

  Arrived to the Nightel dreading what was to come after hearing many reports from colleagues. Was greeted on reception by a friendly guy who checked me in and pointed me towards the room. The layout and feel of the place is exactly like an oil rig with similar facilities. Coffee, TV and a cinema are available in the main area along with a canteen for breakfast and dinner. Food was tasty and the staff offered to make poached eggs on request. The rooms are basic but have got what you need. Only negative is the noise in the morning, having stayed here on 3 previous occasions every time I've been woken up by the cleaning staff speaking with each other or other guests checking out...I now wear ear plugs to block out the noise! All in, the experience was good.

  Welcome to humberside

  I stayed at this hotel for one night before a flight early the next Morning I was greeted by two young ladies stating you must be Anne. Oh no say I am I the only woman and this was confirmed From the first they assured me I would be fine I was shown to my room though not luxurious very clean with an extremely comfy bed, tv and shower room Had the best nights sleep so quiet and comfortable Would really recommend for the cleanliness and comfort along with the warm welcome. All of the staff involved were absolutely marvellous I had room 58 I think and was advised this was the quieter side

  Clean and Tidy

  It was clean and tidy, ideal for a stop over if your flying from Humberside. Better than I expected to be honest. The breakfast was good., and the staff attentive. This is in walking distance of the airport.

  Not comfortable

  The location was perfect to the airport for a short stop. The bed is comfortable but small. Good hospitality from the receptionists. No shampoo or a soap are provided. No breakfast & no restaurant, only a snack machine so you have to go the next hotel so you can find the restaurant. Rooms are same like a containers in a job site camp, if someone if moving outside your room then your bed is shaking. It has a good internet connection.

  Stayed for 10 minutes.

  Firstly I dont know where people have seen a receptionist or why its advertised as 24 hour reception, there was no one. The check in and let collection was from the hotel next door, not a huge problem. After getting the key I spent 20 minutes walking round the hotel trying to find the room I had been given. After walking round constant dark corridors (sensor lights that click off quickly) and finding lots of dead ends I started panicking, there was not a sole in the hotel and no signage to help. I eventually found the way back to the front door and went back to the hotel next door to speak to them. A receptionist came back with me and showed me where the room was. After she left it was deadly silence again. Not much scares me and I travel a lot with work but this place had me petrified. After 10 minutes I decided I couldnt do it so yet again had to find my way out, finding a fire exit chained shut in the process and took the key back. Never again would I return, its more a hostel feel than a hotel. Wouldnt be so bad if there was someone there. Another thing they advertise is free parking - another load of rubbish. To park in front of the hotel you pass through a barrier. Once you have parked you are being charged airport rate parking. My 1 hour of hell cost me £8:50 so good luck with overnight parking. Pictures on sites are definitely not what I was greeted with. Yes there is a restaurant, parking, 24 hour reception and all the other stuff this hotel claims to have..........but its all at the Hilton next door.
