A lovely resort with stunning views, kind staff, and delicious food.

Charming & wonderful! If you want to relax and enjoy an off the beaten path resort, you really should stay here. My family met a friend here visiting from the States, and we stayed in adjacent rooms. We were both very pleased with the hotel rooms, beach, staff, and food. Everything went smoothly from meals to administrative change as I booked both rooms, but my friend settled his own room charge. The staff was kind and gracious. It has a pleasant, relaxed peaceful and calm environment. We stayed on a Saturday night in the Spring but would like to return in the summer, even if it is more crowded. Free parking and delicious food are on offer. Our party of 3 adults, one elementary school child, and one toddler had an excellent meal of fresh local foods including two bottles of beer for just over 12,000 Yen or roughly about $100. Staff didn't rush us at all or make any issue about our toddler. The beach was very nice, and we could go in the water. There's a dock too that you can walk out onto. The swimming pool is only open in the summer; it looked relatively large. A hot bath or sento was available, but I didn't try that. Beach time was enjoyable. The rooms have a full glass window and a small balcony that makes for a great lookout. The gift shop was all reasonably priced and you can obtain beer and other drinks there. We left the resort refreshed and satisfied after just one night.

Fantastic views but damp smelly rooms

We were booked for 2 nights but only stayed for one night as we could not tolerate the awful mould smell of the rooms and very hard, uncomfortable beds. The pool was closed and used to store the floating pontoon. Hotel pools only seem to operate over summer in Japan. The view IS fantastic from the rooms but let down by the dated and poorly maintained room quality. Both children refused to stay another night as both had slept poorly because of the beds. With some updating of the decor, and better maintenance, this could be an outstanding hotel based on its location.

    Tranquil hotel with seaview bedroom

The hotel is built on a beach and located in a remote area so you will need a car to access. Free parking is available. I guess one wil need to take a taxi from the closest JR station to this hotel. Each room has large windows and a balcony facing the sea and the view is gorgeous, tranquil and so comfortable. You can hear the waves lightly breaking onto the shore. The room is about 25m, larger than those in the cities and has a couch, sitting area by the window. It not a new hotel but it is spacious enough and very clean. Staff are courteous and helpful. There is an open air small onsen facing the beach. We saw a swimming pool and heard it opens in the summer. We did not have any meals in the hotel but the restaurant is facing the ocean and it seems nice. Driving out to the restaurants close by only took a few minutes and most restaurants have parking avaialble. There is also a supermarket in between the station and the hotel where we can pick up some snacks and drinks. Price is very affordable and I would recommned you to stay in this hotel if you have a car to get around.

    Simple can be better.

It isnt a hotel that pretends to be what it aint, but being part of the Prince chain you can expect good, efficient service. As others have rightly said, the view upon drawing the curtain is magnificent - I reckon they set that up purposefully! Yes, it is on the old side, carpets and furniture looking a little tired, but its tidy, spacious and importantly the rooms are well presented and clean. Buffet dinner was good though pricey at 5000JPY for adults and half that for kids, so if you are like me you will be sure to get ROI. A good selection of local beef, pork are among the selection naturally some Japanese cuisine also. They have boiled snapper which was another stand out for me! Breakfast was 2700JPY if purchasing separately and for mine, it was standard fare. Poolside was a delight for my daughter and just a short walk from their private beach which there are many photos of. I would concur it isn't Club Med but as I said earlier it doesn't pretend to be. The water is nice and the view of course great, though the hotel has offerings to skip off to nearby beaches by small boat if it is your fancy. If you have a car I would recommend the short drive to Sakaematsu beach, and take the boat ride across to an inlet which has lovely water and an ideal snorkeling spot. My short excursion from Tokyo with my family was delightful and we were fortunate to stay when it wasn't busy, that could be a whole different review. Enjoy!

    Beautiful spot with nice view

This hotel was perfect. Well maintained with nice open bath overlooking the ocean and perfect restaurant in the morning with ocean view. Couldn't have asked for anything more in this area of Japan. View from room was also great.
