  Northern Thailand hospitality

  MHS is a small place with limited accommodation so you have to expect less than bigger citys. Hotel is older style with perfect location. Room was very big with cold quiet air con at the hottest time of the year. Its not luxury but everything worked. Staff were great. MHS has a unique feel in N Thailand, its quiet but bustling with local activity at the same time. Will visit again.

  Good service and location

  Check in here is easier and been in the spacious room for single. I can park my bike in front of the door which also has coffee table at the balcony. Although the view is not so good, facing the post office and main road, but it is waliking distance to night market for less than a minute. Rest and sleep quality are also good beside having such a good internet signal.

  Nice

  Very nice experience at the hotel, stayed 5 nights. Rooms were great, clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Stayed in 2 different rooms due to extending our stay there. Location was perfect, right at the beginning of the might market, next to and near many restaurants. The breakfast buffet was fairly standard for Thai but every morning there was one local dish available to try. The cook's curry is to die for, but it is not offered every morning. Pics I have included are the 2 rooms and views from the rooms facing the lake and the rooom facing the street.

  Walking distance to Lake

  Deluxe Room with King Bed We were given a room on the 2nd floor with view of the lake and mountain which is rather nice. There is no lift but there are helpers to help with your luggage; the stairs are easy to climb too. The bathroom has a wet shower, no hooks provided but water pressure is good. The bedroom floor is not parqueted as stated in Agoda, king bed is out of place in a corner and the sofa in the room has a disintegrating base. Wifi connectiivity is excellent. Location of hotel is good; daily night market is just outside, you could walk to see the Three monuments. Breakfast is good but got cold fast due to cold morning air. Before our arrival I had requested for a hair dryer and hotel shuttle but received no response from Hotel. Hotel helped us to book a tuktuk to the airport for departure. On arrival at the airport the driver asked to be paid. Tips: bring your own hooks with sunction pads. There is a tourist police office nearby where you can get maps and information.

  Better than average budget hotel

  At a walk in price of 800 THB I thought that it was a pretty good stay overall. The room was large, comfortable, and clean. The air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and hot water all worked well. It was nice to have a reasonably priced mini-bar in the room. The hotel was fairly quiet, I was the only guest staying there on my second night Easy parking for folks who are touring the area by car. Although breakfast was included, it was just so-so, and I skipped it on day two. Overall a good choice for the price.
