  Comfort while viewing the colors

  This comfortable, well appointed venue is a favorite for us. Due to a change in health status, we had to request a room with a walk-in shower when we checked in. The staff were understanding and went out of their way to accommodate the short notice change in our needs. The rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed including a fireplace. It was a great home away from home during this visit to enjoy the changing leaf colors. Covid 19 precautions were appreciated.

  Loved the pool and grills on the property.

  We got a beautiful one bedroom suite with our own private patio. The place was beautiful and the property boasted a nice pool, grills to cookout, along with breakfast and a little gift shop. The location was great for walking to the park and watching the sunset over the Bay of Green Bay, shops, restaurants and bars. We will come again.

  Rented 2 two bedroom condos.

  We had the best stay at Newport. Everything was extremely clean, and very quiet. The gift shop is stocked with great finds- including local beers. We can't wait to return for another family weekend. Such a beautiful place.

  Quiet winter getaway

  We have stayed at the Newport for years and it is wonderful no matter the season. The 1 and 2 bedroom units are equipped with all the comforts of home. We love the separate bedroom, the jacuzzi tub and the fireplace. The full kitchen makes it easy to prepare light breakfasts and lunches saving room and finances for dinners out. Our recent trip took advantage of the midweek special pricing. Our main purpose was to enjoy the outdoors and have some R&R by the fire as well as pool and hot tub time; the Newport provided everything we needed. Contactless maid service was a nice safety feature. We have stayed in many places in our 30+ years of coming to Door but this is definitely our favorite.

  Nice change of scenery

  We had a really nice time on a long weekend trip. The room rate for a two-bedroom suite was great during the off-season, and the place wasn't too crowded. The room and facilities were well-kept and clean, beds were comfy, pool area was great and the place is perfectly located to explore Door County. For the winter, things were fine, but there were a few drawbacks (if I'm being picky): 1) If I was paying $100 more a night in the summer months, I'd expect better paper products (i.e. toilet paper, kleenex, and paper towels) and soaps/amenities in the bathrooms. 2) Aside from the lobby which was recently updated, the place is pretty outdated. Very clean, but very 90's. Loud exhaust fans in the bathrooms, older tiles and showers, slightly sad furniture in the living areas. 3) I've never seen so many wet hair wads in a pool. The pool area was generally very clean, except for the hair. I was seriously gagging. Really we did have a great time. We'd love to come back when we can enjoy some of the outdoor amenities.
