  Great stay, except the naked man

  I spent two nights here over the weekend, getting into the rooms was a little confusing to start but I just wasn't careful enough with reading instructions on how to check in. The room was very spacious and very tidy and clean. The bathrooms and kitchen were also well maintained. My only problem was that the room I was staying in had no windows that were able to open- at least I couldn't work it out, and the air conditioning only blew warm air, but my whole stay was very enjoyable, except, on my second night staying there it was about 1am and I heard someone trying to get into my room. I was half asleep and answered the door and had a fully naked man walk straight into my room and get into my bed. My main problem was I'm a 21 year old female who was staying alone and had no idea what to do, there was no front desk for me to go and ask for help so I basically had to yell at him incessantly and turn on the lights to get him out. I think he may have been sleep walking or heavily intoxicated but it was still quite confronting. I do not blame the accomodation for this problem as I shouldn't have answered the door, I just didn't know how to get help when technically there was no "front desk" Everything else about my stay was great.

  Tighes Hill Accomodation, 28/03/17- Excellent Accommodation!

  Extremely clean and modern accommodation with a shared bathroom. The room is well equipped with an iron, ironing board, hairdryer and air con. You need a pin code for the secure parking facilities and to the hotel, this is partially provided on the confirmation email and also by text. A pub is located within walking distance for dinner. Very much recommend.

  Night roadworks, tv falling of the wall, aircon no longer working and smoke alarm test without warning!!!

  So on my first nights stay i was woken at 11pm by the council conducting foot path construction, would have been fine except i work night shift. Third night the aircon stopped working. Trying to sleep the fourth day and get woken by someone testing the smoke alarm, can test smoke alarm but not check why my aircon is not working. Management had no idea that the smoke alarm was being tested. 11 am and i was still waiting for aircon to be fixed. No offer of a fan or anything for my room. Not happy with my stay so far!! Got another 5 nights to go and i will add a checkout review before i leave.

  Poorly Maintained Amenities.

  Cheap stay with decent clean bed; shared bathroom and communal kitchen. The window sashes in the room had been cut so wouldn't open and the Venetian blind was broken and dirty. There were no hangers for clothes and shelf unit was dusty and damaged. The kitchen had no crockery or cutlery or cooking utensils so had to purchase our own. The window plinth had broken away from the glass and was in danger of dislodging. The tap constantly dripped and cockroaches were everywhere. Also the bags dirty linen were stored on the floor in the corner. The bathrooms weren't serviced daily resulting in no toilet paper for 24 hours. There is free secure off street parking although someone kept deliberately jamming the electronic gate in the open position. The management is off site so the behaviour and number of permanent residents isn't monitored. The whole place needs a good clean!
