  Truly a good stay hotel

  Book a room with 1 single bed and 1 double bed. Comfortable room, quick process of check-in and check-out, friendly receptionist, next to e-mart. Hotel easy to find, had wheel chair / stroller access. about 15 mins by foot to Hwaseong Haenggung, 12 mins walked to Jidong Market (close at 6 pm) Truly a good stay hotel.

  Friendly Staff and Little "Extras" Make This a Great Place to Stay

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is conveniently located near the Hwaseong Palace. The rooms are a tad small but very comfortable and clean. Be prepared because all of the towels are the size of hand towels, not bath towels. However, I understand that this is typical in Korea. They provide a nice breakfast tailored to the bulk of tourists staying there for only 5 won. Our favorite part of this hotel is the staff. They were very friendly and helpful. Haeng-Gung Mat-Jib was particularly helpful. Attached to the hotel is a convenience store where we could buy anything from water to pizza. There is also a nice patio with picnic tables. We took advantage of their washing machine--another nice perk of staying here!

  Inexpensive, great location

  Stayed here two nights in August on a tour of Korean baseball stadiums. Conveniently located to KT Wiz stadium and the Hwaseong fortress sights. Basic room with television and mini-refrigerator. While the outside of the building gives it the appearance of being new, the interior is clearly worn. Wall has scuff marks, debris under the beds, linen is worn and now off-white. Staff seem friendly but not especially knowledgeable. On making a reservation I inquired about bicycle rental. The staff replied they offered no such service and made no suggestions about making further inquiries or directing me to someone who might help. Nor did they mention that Suwon is serviced by Mobike, a sharebike program. On arrival, I asked about somewhere I could get a haircut with a shave. The clerk knew only where I could get a haircut and made no effort to make inquires about where a shave might be possible. Such is the level of service. Passing, but nothing exceptional. Would look for something different on a return visit.

  excellent

  excellent hotel. friendly staffs and very clean room conditions. Also very good locations. provide excellent amenities. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed very much. The hotel located near Seoul and airport. I am strongly recommend this hotel to others.

  Very basic, Practical, Unfriendly

  Good - location: close to Hwasung Palace and Fortress, and traditional markets within walking distance. Other than some moldy spots in the tiny fridge,room is fairly clean and well-maintained. They fill up the fridge with complimentary bottled water and other canned drinks daily. Bad - the front counter staff is the unfriendliest and the least helpful person I've encountered in all of my travels. When we checked in, he didn't say a single word and just handed us 1 room key. I asked 3 questions in total- 1. For the 2nd key, since there are 2 of us, 2. Wifi info (everywhere I've stayed informed that at check-in even before asking). 3 for assistance with calling a taxi. These are very basic questions, but he appeared enormously annoyed when I asked these questions. His responses were: 1. Reluctantly handed in the 2nd room key, 2. He said "the info is in the room!" 3. "No, we dont offer that service." If you are merely looking for an affordable place to have a quick shower and a safe place to sleep at night, this hotel will offer just that, but dont expect to receive any other travel-related services that you may take for granted while staying at a "tourist" hotel. (FYI-Their info book in the room stated that there's laundry and airport shuttle services for extra $.)
