  Two star hotel with 5 star prices ?

  More negatives than pluses ? The room was freezing, dated and musty. The toilet was suitable only for people with size 8 waistlines. The tv was older than me and no bigger than 18' . The bar prices are that of a 5 star hotel ? A pint of beer and a house brandy costs £9-60. The plus side is that the food was ok and servers helpful but, having been to Blackpool on a number of occasions, then the new president wil not be getting my custom again. If looking out your window and seeing a brick wall is panoramic, then my view was fine?

  A great weekend

  We came as a large group of friends and stayed at the New President Hotel for the first time. Hotel staff are lovely and helpful, rooms are clean but just a little on the small side (but we didn't spend too much time in there). The breakfast was lovely. We will be returning for another group meet in June and I think I can say for those who came are looking forward to returning. A BIG THANKS to All for making this a great weekend.

  Bevipool friends forever

  Just recovering from a brilliant weekend at our first meet up in the president hotel we had a couple of hiccups nothing worth talking about my room was more the adequate the staff were brilliant especially Ian goes out his way to sort my group needs so good weve booked our next group meet in June looking forward to returning to the hotel ....   Let down last minute.

  My family and I were visiting Southport for 7 nights and decided to extend the holiday for 2 nights so we could visit blackpool. We booked the president hotel as it is advertised as dog friendly. The night before we were due to travel to Blackpool we were phoned by booking.com to be told that they could not accommodate our booking, this was less than 24 hours before we were due to arrive. So we had to try and find alternative dog friendly accommodation at a reasonable price which is hard to find. By the looks of things we had a lucky escape as the hotel looks extremely run down from the outside.

  DO NOT BOOK

  This hotel is shut do not book !!! There totally shut we booked they have took the money and got there on the 29/08/2020 it was in darkness, we were lucky to find another hotel what had a vacancy absolute joke
