  Very Good

  Great place to stay in Wye. Room was lovely and the pub has a very nice beer garden. All the meals, including breakfast were excellent with a good choice of evening meals. There was some mould in the bathroom that could do with spraying with mould remover or bleach, the area in front of the rooms could have done with a sweep and my other half was disappointed there was no Cask ale on during our stay, but other than these minor details it was excellent and we would stay again.

  Extremely helpful staff

  Stayed one night . Extremely friendly, cheery and helpful service. Comfortable clean room. Good bathroom. Windows wide open in room and bathroom on our arrival taking full advantage of glorious warm weather. Excellent. Super helpful staff sorted a picnic breakfast as we were not able to take advantage of the very tasty sounding breakfast on offer. Delightful waitress . Highly recommend this pub in charming village.

  Great night's stay and meal

  I stopped here for one night ahead of walking a section of the North Down's Way to Canterbury. Excellent location with just a 15 minute walk from the railway station. The staff were just great - very friendly and welcoming on arrival and throughout. Good COVID-aware operation for both dining and accommodation. The room was really comfortable - with a fabulously comfortable bed. The evening meal was excellent - Sunday roasts had sold out so I expect they were good, but there was still lots of good options. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice.

  Friendly Service

  We were joining some friends for a meal at a nearby restaurant so needed somewhere to stay so we could have a drink. We were warmly welcomed to the hotel and shown a spacious room with everything we needed. Joined by our friends we have a drink in the bar. All the covid precautions were in place so we felt very safe. The server was cheerful and very friendly. We had a good nights sleep and a very tasty breakfast. Tip - book direction the hotels website. Its cheaper than the booking sites

  Disgusting

  Booked 3 nights with breakfast. The room and communal areas were filthy. Skidmarks in the toilet, cobwebs and dust in the bedroom. Insect eggs in the bathroom. When we complained and refused to stay we were promised a full refund (BTW they told us they do not offer breakfast so we were overcharged before we even arrived!) We have been trying for 5 months to get a refund despite evidence of an email they sent us stating that a full refund would be made. They are now refusing to refund so do we bite the bullet and get solicitor or Kent messenger involved? VERY FRUSTRATING
