  Good hotel good staff

  Stayed on tour for one night.Lots of construction at the moment but we were out and about during the day. Location was close to the Grand Canal. Room was spacious and although the ubiquitous hard bed was present, fine. Free internet connection in the room was great. The breakfast was first class. We ate dinner in the restaurant and although vegetarian food on this tour hasn't been great the others seemed to enjoy the meal. Food was plentiful. Overall fine for a night's stay.

  Standard-size rooms but great location near the Grand Canal & Pizzahut

  This 20 storey hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the Grand Canal, and adjacent to pedestrian-only shopping streets. The rooms are standard-sized but cosy, with condoms and other useful items in the bathroom available for purchase, including playing cards for 3 yuan (US$ 0.50). Theres a pleasant lobby bar. Breakfast is served on the 2nd floor between 7.00am and 10.00am, with a breakfast chef cooking eggs to order. In addition to a traditional Western breakfast Chinese choices include delicious mushrooms. For a change from Chinese food you could enjoy pizza with good wine in the friendly Pizzahut restaurant just 7 minutes walk away.

  not bad, above average

  I spent one night there in room 901 on a group tour, room ok, carpet stained. Fridge was not working but got fixed very quickly. As there is a lot of building going on nearby, we had to walk around the hoardings to the entry. Close to a pedestrian area with lots of western shops and fast-food outlets. Good atmosphere at night with entertainment and tai chi demonstration in the morning just behind the hotel.

  Good location and modern hotel

  The hotel was fine, with good air conditioning and wifi in the room. However, the rooms are small and the bathroom smaller. A longer stay would have resulted in a war to use the facilities! Breakfast was not for the western palate and the coffee was the worst we tasted in China. They even only provided margarine for toast, no butter

  Suzhou Immersion

  It is located in the central downtown area of Suzhou-a cosmopolitan area of Shanghai. The hotel is decent and clean but almost all adults smokes in China, so don't be surprised though you requested for a non-smoking room you will still get that fumes inside your room.
