  Austria at Her Best

  Wonderful. Wonderful town, wonderful people, wonderful room, wonderful food. Need I say more? There may be more elegant hotels im Zillertal, but you'd be hard pressed to find friendlier, cozier accommodations.

  Friendly and good value

  A family run hotel that is friendly and relaxed. For a 3 star hotel, breakfast is good and over a week we have a good variety of 5 course meals in the evening that accommodated most tastes. Hotel room had a balcony with view down the valley. At the side of the hotel and very little noise from the road/outside. More noise from inside the hotel from other guests etc but no different from any other hotel. Rooms could perhaps do with being modernised but comfortable and clean. . Very good ski/boot storage room though while it's only a relatively short walk to the local gondola it is quite a steep walk up the road in the morning (down in the evening!) you might be better finding ways to store equipment (we hired skis from Sunny Ski School and left them at their office by the Gondola). Also a very good, and under used, sauna and steam room available. All in all very pleased with our stay.

  Perfect for ski vacations!

  I visited the hotel for a holiday on ski! I was with friends and family and we were staying at the hotel for 6 days. It was very nice. All the meals were great, the waiters were very nice and fun to make jokes with. The rooms had a good size and was cleaned to perfection everyday. In the basement you have a big room where you can take a cold shower, sit in an infrared box and go to the sauna. They have a masseuse you can book for an hour if you want to. That is highly recommended after a couple of days on ski! The prices were nice, and the overall experience were close to perfect.

  Good dinner

  Were staying around the corner at aparthotel Tuxertal Weve tried a few local restaurants but needed somewhere new for valentines (albeit with 4 kids there too!) Not much English spoken but we got by Good service nonetheless Food decent Wine good Cost us 240 euros for 8 - not as good value as Alte Brucke but not bad overall

  Wonderful!

  Located in a beautiful valley in the Austrian alps about half way (or more) to the top of the mountain. Lots of hiking trails, ski lifts, etc. Bus runs length of the valley every 20 min and hotel gave us a free bus pass. Rooms were very nice and there is an elevator (lift)! Good breakfast. Ate dinner there twice and it was excellent. Wonderful owner who gave us ideas for sightseeing. Spectacular location!! Hotel has been owned by the same family since the mid-1800's.
