Oasis in a busy resort townThis is my third visit to this hotel, and I appreciate its qualities more and more with each visit. I've noticed that there are a number of returning guests from past years and that must be the ultimate endorsement of a hotel. Although I have not stayed at other hotels in Pesaro, friends have had experience with numerous ones and I would say this place is a gem. The hotel certainly benefits from being family run. There is no question about "who is going to be at the desk" which is a bonus for single travelers - particularly those who do not speak Italian well. The restaurant it as the top which means that to enter the hotel one doesn't have to "wade" through people dining. Instead there is a lovely patio area in the front where it is possible to sit and work, play cards, chat with friends or watch children enjoy the playground equipment off to the side. The staff is helpful and attentive. The rooms are clean and convenient. The cleaning staff is cheerful and accommodates people who sleep late. The restaurant serves generous authentic Italian cooking. Most of the guests were Italian and seemed to be enjoying the meals. One advantage of having the hotel being placed towards the "end" of "hotel row" ( my expression) is that there are not mobs of people wandering by as with some of those closer to the center. Rooms facing the sea, of course have the "noise" of life ( not traffic) including roller skating at the rink across from the hotel. This is certainly not a problem after mid-night, and if one adapts to Italian schedule it works just fine. This place is just more than "value for money" it feels a like a "home away from home"

Good value of moneyDespite that Hotel Nettuno was one of the cheapest choice in Pesaro (quite an expensive city actually) I was satisfied with my stay. Single room had average size with nice view on the beach from balcony, everything was clean and room cleaning never disturb me being always made when I was out. I chose full board and food quality and variety was fairly good. Internet is free and worked well in my room. I found the staff extremely friendly, special thanks to hotel owner Marco. The hotel has a small pool but I prefered to swim in the sea. The only thing when low price of the room told was absence of air conditioning in my room. Generally I would recomend this hotel.

Stay in Nettuno Hotel, Pesaro, ItalyThe hotel is very well located, in front of the beach in the Adriatic Sea, The personnel was very kind. The room was confortable, with private bathroom. Good price. The hotel (and the city of Pesaro) is good for vacation with family.

Budget hotel near the beachIt is difficult to write fairly about this hotel. It is a cheap and basic hotel on the road next to the beach, a good ten minutes' walk from the Piazzale della Liberta (where the sphere and some good restaurants are located) and twenty minutes' walk from the Piazza del Populo in the centre of the city. My room was clean, with basic, dated furnishings, air conditioning and a room safe. The bed was comfortable, but the hotel has no sound-proofing, and I was woken up quite early each morning by noise from the street and the hotel. I asked for a change of room, which the staff provided, but it was not much quieter, and the air conditioning was extremely noisy, so I could not use it at night. There was little possibility of having a lie in, as breakfast finished at 9.30 am and check-out time was 10 am. Breakfast was served on the top floor in a room with good sea views. There was a reasonable range of food, and some of the cakes were very tasty, though the coffee was supplied (by a machine) in minuscule quantities. The staff were helpful and pleasant, but the noise and very limited facilities would put me off staying there again.

Perfect home base for exploring Pesaro and the MarcheOf the half dozen hotels I've stayed at in Pesaro I enjoyed the Nettuno the most. It is a family-run hotel at the northernmost end of the Viale Trieste near the marina (a magical place to walk at night). Marco and Paola are kind and go out out of their way to be helpful. They and set the tone for their cheerful, accommodating, and hard-working staff. I'm a very light sleeper but slept like a log thanks to the quiet A/C and comfortable bed in our small but convenient and immaculately kept room with a sea view (and corner balcony, handy for drying out swimsuits and beach towels). The hotel's free bicycles make it easy to get around Pesaro or pedal to Fano on the bikepath that runs down the middle of the Viale Trieste, and if you're also using the hotel as base for touring the Marche, as we were, you can park your car for a nominal fee in the lot right behind the hotel. There's a tasty array of pastries for breakfast and multi-coursed, home-cooked lunches and dinners--and special feasts--for which you can sign up or not. (I especially appreciated all the fresh vegetables!) The top-floor dining room where meals are served is a very congenial and lively spot where you can get to know the other guests, which in August include not only families on holiday but quite a few opera-goers. (The bus to one of the venues stops just two blocks away.) The front patio, covered and open, is also a great place to relax with an Aperol spritz between activities. We'll be back!
