  A lovely hotel.

  This was a beautiful hotel in the stunning coastal town of North Berwick. The staff were so attentive and friendly. We sat out in the beer garden which was simply loving and buzzing with friendly guests enjoying the evening sunshine. All the time staff were ensuring our needs were met. We were very impressed with the Covid safety measures. There were one-way systems where possible and sanitisers available at all times. I had the mature steak for dinner and it was tender and succulent. I would've given 5 stars and would've given 4.5 if possible but the second floor room which was lovely had a sloping roof meant you had to bend to get alongside the bed. I banged my head. I think the ceiling suffered more than me. We did laugh. This would've been the perfect single bedroom. This is an amazing hotel and we will definitely return. Thank you for a lovely stay.

  Absolutely Brilliant

  Beautiful hotel. We were surprised with a free room upgrade for our wedding anniversary which was obviously a lovely surprise. The room was beautiful. The breakfast menu is extensive and cooked to perfection. The restaurant food is delicious and reasonably priced so theres no need to go out at night. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely return in the not too distant future 10/10!

  Excellent service and food

  Excellent service ! Felt very safe with the new covid restrictions ! Food was really tasty and staff were really attentive ! Thank you ! Ever were very understanding of dietary requirements and children who cant sit still ! Thank you ! Xxcc

  Lovely 2 day stay

  Visited the hotel for a 2 day break. Had not stayed before. On arrival hand sanitiser at entrance to reception. Staff fully masked. Room was a double on the second floor at the front of the property. Bathroom lovely. Extremely modern and well equipped. Room had good lighting and plugs for hairdryer etc. Being an older building decor was what you would expect. Meals very good. Dinner lovely,warm plates and choice good. Breakfast again very good and plenty choice. Staff friendly and efficient. Bar area is good. We were fortunate on our visit that rather was fair enough to enjoy a pre dinner drink outside.

  Great stay - exceptional welcome to our Labrador

  Lovely hotel & team who were so welcoming & very dog friendly. Laura especially could not have been more welcoming or helpful. Room was very clean, well equipped & exactly what was needed for our 2 night stay. Bed was huge & very comfortable. Only criticism would be the bathroom - bath/shower could do with updating but not a deal breaker. Hence 4 stars. £10 extra per night for dog which is standard & reasonable. Would recommend the restaurant - we ate elsewhere first night, hotel 2nd & wished wed just stayed at hotel as lovely food & fairly priced. Atmosphere on bar/restaurant was great, even in spite of COVID19 regulations. Breakfast - very good! Great walks for the dog down the shore - highly recommend visiting Yellow Craigs - only 1 or 2 miles down road from hotel (turn right as you leave hotel). Main town of North Berwick 10-15 minutes walk (turn left as leave hotel). Loads of wee shops, cafes & places to eat. We will definitely visit again & would recommend if looking for a good hotel in area of North Berwick.
