great beach views great price pointa nice getaway. a bit dated rooms but very comfortable and clean. Everything you need for a pleasant stay. Staff at Grey Fox very helpful. They took the time to mail me an item I had left behind at the room. We will return. Easy walk to beach or stroll the quaint town with small well kept cottages.

Easter getawayWe stayed here for an Easter trip to the coast, imagine our surprise when we saw all the rabbits running around! They have large 1st come 1st choice of back in and pullthru sites with FHU. A large gathering room for events, indoor swimming pool and hot tub, centrally located to tour both ends of the coast

A nice surprise.First impression is not good...the 60 unit building is way past its prime and there is a lot of congestion just getting to the rental office. We made reservations at the last minute and could only get a second floor studio. The check-in was friendly and fast and we opened the door to our condo to find a pleasant motel sized room with a deck that was right on the beach. The room had had a full size fridge, microwave and fully equipped silverware and tableware. There was even a dining table in the room but no stove. At $160, we thought this was a fair price for high season. The beach is easily accessed and beautiful. The only drawback is that there are a lot of people on the beach and many unleashed dogs.

It all depends on your cup of teaPersonally, I love this place. There is NOTHING special about the actual, (individually owned ) condos. Some detailed and decorated better than others (better use of space, more comfortable furniture etc...). We have stayed in 3 different ones over the years and they all basically are very small narrow, small kitchens, bedrooms crammed into the back with no views, unless you choose a studio, and don't look for any dishwashers. Plus, they all have fake fireplaces, which... whatever... However, the VIEW! Wow! and the peace and quiet of this small wayside treasure??? To die for. During the summer months there is a metal foot bridge to get to the beach that lies outside your condo's patio. Winter - they store it away because of the rising river and unpredictable weather - but the beach can be accessed in a mere couple of blocks' distance. There are a couple of restaurants on 'site' ( the block long parking lot area considered Neskowin) We've only gone to The Cafe on Hawk Creek - which we loved. (The other is a bistro) and there's a small touristy 'gourmet' market which does in a pinch - and where you can get ice cream cones! Bonus! But honestly, it really is the view and the laid back all-to-yourself feel that is the best think about this place. Watching eagles soar onto Proposal Rock, taking a stroll down the beach, having a beautiful fresh water creek to wade in, being surprised by Ghost Forest. ... If you're looking for luxury - forget it, but if you want affordable front row seats to magic, this is your place.

Neskowin GemExcellent view.Large rooms. A hidden gem on the beach. We went in the winter and felt a real sense of renewal. Positioned on the Oregon coast to act as a launching site to see the best of what Oregon has to offer.
