Vile disgusting horrible hotel!! Not suitable for English at all.We are the type of people that get annoyed when people review a hotel 1 star for a dirty sheet. We are not fussy or high maintenance and this is the first review I have ever made on here. I feel like I seriously need to warn people of this hotel. Checked in at 2am,no food was saved for us and no water given either. Considering we were all inclusive we feel its not hard to save a few sandwiches and a bottle of water. We were shown to our room and it was covered in mould(Room 109) we went right back down to reception and said we wanted to move, receptionist told us the room is fine and lovely and refused to move us. Tired from a long day we went to bed. 8am the next morning we went to reception and demanded to be moved,we were told to come back at 10,then 12, then 2. We were told we need to pay for our room change. We pointed out that we didnt pay for a family room or a filthy room infested with mould they eventually agreed to change us. The hotel shop keeper Adel was friendly at first. We spent a lot of money in his shop. He offered to take us to sousse for free to stop the locals hassling us. He gave us a ticket for a mini bus and told us to meet him at 10am the next morning. We met him and he shown us to his car(admittedly we shouldnt have got in!!) he drove like a psycho to sousse and even crashed his car with us in it. When we got to the markets he would only let us go into his friends shops and refused to let us go anywhere else. We didnt want to get back in the car with him and was planning on eating in sousse so we politely told him we would meet him back at the hotel as we wanted to have food. He shook our hands and left. Later that evening, infront of a very busy reception Adel come to us screaming at us saying you are not f**king English!! You are Russian, you have cost me money and upset my family and friends not buying in there shops,I have an accident in car and its all your fault amongst other revolting insults. I told Adel he didnt need to be rude and he was not getting anywhere speaking to people like that. He stormed off screaming in his language and pointing at us to other hotel staff and no one stopped him. He made every effort to make me especially uncomfortable for the rest of our holiday. Jimmy sells the excisions for the hotel, when we said it was our first day and we were very tired,he also told us we were not English and must be Russian,so he lost out on money from us as we refused to give him our money. There was a power cut(we presume!) in the hotel we along with the only other English people(a couple) were in reception alone. Everything went black and silent and then out of nowhere people started running into reception shouting in their language with torches. The lady we were with asked is this a power cut?! Not a single person stopped to reassure us or make sure we were ok. Given what happened in Tunisia years ago, this was terrifying. We were robbed. 70 dinar, 2 pairs of sunglasses and 2 Ralph Lauren polos. I bought a pair of sunglasses off the shop keeper Adel, after he verbally attacked us,my sunglasses suddenly disappear from our room and end up back on his shelf(remember he was also saying we owed him money). I told reception and they couldnt care less. I caught this conversation on camera. He told me I must have lost it all outside the hotel. When I asked who else has access to the rooms other that cleaners he snapped at me saying dont ever think that,we have had no trouble with house keeping here The food is revolting. Its covered in flies. Not suitable for English unless you like sloppy rice for breakfast, fly infested pizza for lunch and mysterious meat for dinner because nothing was hardly ever labelled and when we asked what things were we were just shrugged at. The plates are dirty, the tables are disgusting, you have to hunt for your own cutlery too. Breakfast 7-9 lunch 12.30-2 and dinner 7-9 there is an offer of pizzas at 4 in the shack near the beach but the chef cooks pizzas in the most disgusting kitchen, goes outside for a fag then picks your pizza up with his bare hands to give it to you. Your constantly waiting around for food even though it was disgusting. We ate out 5 nights. The surroundings of the hotel are abandoned, you cant get to anything without a taxi. Dont get reception o call you a taxi, they get commission from the taxis, just walk outside and one will eventually drive past. No English music, everything is German or french. None of the animation team spoke in English over the mic so we had no idea what was going on. They are friendly and nice enough but werent interested in the English. The only night time show was a fire breathing show and they spoke in other languages throughout. Until, they asked one woman to get on her knees on stage and asked if she could speak English, the woman said not too well. He insisted on speaking in English for this part so english Can understand he then pretended to cut this womans head off infront of a crowd. Again..considering what happened here this was soooo distasteful and we left because we were so so uncomfortable. So inappropriate and insulting. All posters in the rep area is in different languages not a single one in English. The drinks are vile, all spirits taste like petrol and there is hardly ever anyone in the bars. Beach bar was shut too. Grass by pool is sooo overgrown and riddled with ants. The beds are broken and old and the younger lifeguards are so lazy. The older lifeguard couldnt do enough for his he was honestly so lovely and amazing!! He is a credit to the hotel and deserves to work somewhere else. When FINALLY checking out we werent even asked if we enjoyed our stay it was like they couldnt wait to get rid of us. We sat in reception fighting off flies and mosquitoes for 40mins. Please please dont come here! I never listen to fussy people but this hotel was beyond a joke and would hate for anyone to experience what we did.

APPALLINGSo me and my partner stayed here for two weeks, everything seemed okay on the first few nights but as the holiday went on you start to notice how bad it actually is, the animation team do nothing but drink all night, hungover all day and only interact with Russian or German people. Reception man constantly asking if he could buy my Versace trainers off me for 100Dinar! You take a table in the restaurant and a member of staff moves your things without telling you, not to mention he was asking if I was gay and if me and my partner would go to a club with him! One of them went as far as asking if we had sex together! Disgusting!! flys and mosquitoes EVERYWHERE, my legs are an absolute mess. There is nothing they do about it other than spray some cheap insect repellent that just moves them to the ceilings of the rooms, I could really go on and on!! I do not recommend this hotel and I definitely wont be returning! NOT UNDERRATED AT ALL!!
