Paradise holidaysWe are so excited about our holidays in Neptune Hotel, we had the best time ever!!! The health measurements against Coronovirus were absolutely applied and we felt safe and relaxed! We enjoyed our gym in a super organised indoor - outdoor Gym with a lot of programs and athletic facilities. The chefs menu was the best food in Kos island. A variety of plenty and tasty food that satisfies even the most difficult palate. Nights under the sound of a Piano and saxophone or Greek traditional dances were a nice surprise for us!! All the employees were so friendly and polite, they made us feel like home! To sum up I would like to thank Neptune Hotel for the professional and great services!!!

Amazing hotelGreat location . Beautiful beach . Very nice rooms with view ,Excellent and professional staff especially Monika and Christos (breakfast and dinner) and miss Sofia the front office manager: she offered us an upgrade for free because of an internal error of our travel agent. The prices at the hotel are very high for Greece for example one single espresso 3.50 EUR. We will come back for sure !

Lovely Summer Stay in Kos (Covid-19)We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Neptune Hotels Kos last 11-21 August 2020. All the people were lovely - The food was amazing. Prior to coming, we were about apprehensive to travel because of the Covid-19 situation, but we originally booked this holiday in January 2020 (even before Coronavirus). We felt very safe and secure when we arrived in Neptune. There were safety precautions everywhere (sun beds were being wiped and cleaned after every use, masks in common areas/the Market, etc.). Our room was lovely - We originally booked a standard double room, but we were upgraded to a more modern Superior one - so that was a lovely start to our holiday. Lovely modern room with led lights, a fridge, and spacious cupboards. Bathroom was also very nice and modern. Loved the showers. Good location too as we were just near the market and the main building. Our favourite restaurant was the Taverna (Mikes and Thanasis were so nice and friendly), but all the other restaurants such as Meats and the Italian were nice as well. We didnt try the main buffet at night, but we had the breakfast buffet which could get busy but we figured out the time that worked for us. Also loved the gelateria - Emma was so lovely! The resort is so lovely - the staff are sooo lovely (especially the guys from the Neppi Kids Club - My daughter Maisie absolutely loved everyone especially Bill). Our daughter loved the kids club so much that she went there almost everyday. They also let us stay in a temporary double room prior to our late departure (since we could not stay in our original room), so we were able to rest and refresh/shower before we flew back to England. Just a tip - Get a bug spray! Since we went in August which is mosquito season, it would be nice to have bug spray. They are selling it in the market as well. My husband and daughter didnt get bitten as much as I was, but its not a biggie to me. Would like to thank all the lovely staff: Reservations - Katerina Front Desk - Alkis, Constantinos, Fay Neppi Land Kids Club - Bill, Leonie, Esme, Rafael, Natasha Taverna - Mikes, Thanasis, Spyros Breakfast - Elektra, Dimitris, Mikes (from Taverna) Troj Bar - Elisavet Meats - Christos, Thanasis (also from Taverna), Anastasia, Spyros Gelateria - Emma Room Service - Aggelika Apollo Theatre Bar - Evilena, Vangelis Cleaner - Laureta Pool Bar - Rafaela

Good hotel if you don't mind huge resorts and mass tourismWe usually do not stay at big resort (550+ rooms), but decided to give Neptune a try, as we needed a place to stay for one night before leaving Kos. Pros: - hotel grounds are huge and beautifully kept - the hotel has a couple of beaches, that are almost private (in fact accessible to public, but most people on them are from the hotel) - our Deluxe twin sea view room was brand new and indeed had a nice view over the sea (in quite a distance), Kalymnos and sunset - breakfast was good quality - big covered parking is available and free - bottle of cheap red wine in the room as a welcome gift Cons: - hotel grounds are huge and getting anywhere takes a lot of time (especially with small children). Our room (which was located in one of the most remote buildings) was 450m from the sea (yes, I measured it on the map) and with a baby it was a good 10 min walk to get to the beach. - even though the hotel was not full and had all categories of rooms available (as shown on their booking site on that day), they could not assign us any rooms until almost 13:00 and also denied any requests for a room closer to the beach (even though we have booked directly through their website and it was not the cheapest room category). After having prolonged discussions on this issue with various staff members, no solution could be found (even after I proposed to pay for a higher room category provided it is available immediately). Quite inflexible and I would say unprofessional for a hotel that claims to be 5 stars - beaches were full of people as hotel guests tend to stay at the resort - wherever you stay, prepare for a long walk to the parking (important if you have heavy luggage) - keep in mind that when meltemi (N wind that is frequent in July-Sep) blows, the sea at the beaches can get quite rough - our room had two terraces, but those were not very usable because they lacked both shade and privacy. - climbing to the 2nd floor where our room with luggage was is not fun There is nothing really bad about this hotel and many people would find it quite nice, but we are not fans of huge hotels and mass tourism and won't be back.
