  Excellent place to stay at Nelson bay. Host is really kind and takes really good care of their guests. Excellent breakfast. Fresh rooms and Linen. Amazing jacuzzi. Great Hospitality. Highly recommend this place to stay. MANU

  Great value and very welcoming

  Spent three nights between Christmas and New Years. The owners were super helpful and made us feel welcome. The room and bathroom were spotless, and the breakfast came with a variety of freshly made breads. The B&B itself is not close to the beach, but still very well situated with shops, restaurants and the marina just a few minutes away. Would highly recommend for a quiet getaway.

  What a gorgeous find!

  We spent two nights at this B&B and I recommend it highly! Super comfortable bed in a spotlessly clean room. And a fabulous breakfast including numerous types of freshly baked bread. The hosts were really friendly and very informative.

  Nelson Bay`s best kept secret

  Leaving our holiday booking to the last minute and not being able to find any accommodation in January or finding other places charging ridiculous amounts like around $500 a night, stumbled across Nelson Bay Bed and Breakfast by accident on the internet. Despite coming on holiday to this area for more than 30 years, we`d never really considered a bed and breakfast place before or heard of this accommodation which has been going for the past 17 years. Situated a little on the outskirts of town less than 2 km from the centre in a cul de sac street off the main entry into Nelson Bay, we were very pleasantly surprised to find this hidden gem surrounded by a small nature reserve bustling with birdlife and beautiful trees. Like being in a rainforest. A piece of quiet paradise which we so desperately yearned for away from the madding crowds and traffic. We were welcomed by owners Trish and Iain who went out of their way to make us feel at home and were treasure troves of knowledge about the area. There are 3 bedrooms off their main house with private entrance. Our bedroom was very comfortable and had a room running off it with a double spa bath, great for couples!! Breakfast was an amazing array of cereals, home made fruit salad and , best of all, homemade bread and about a dozen or so choices of jams. Place was immaculately clean and meticulous attention to covid precautions of sanitizer etc which was rightfully demanded on entry and exit. We absolutely loved every minute of being there. On the small negative side, quite a hill to negotiate to the car park and main entrance so probably not suitable without an average level of physical fitness. Not really suitable for kids either as bedrooms only have double bed and not big enough for more than one or two people. We will certainly return there in the future and spent a heavenly week in this delightful town in our newly discovered piece of accommodation paradise.

  Lovely Accommodation

  This was our 2nd visit to Nelson Bay Bed and Breakfast and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We spent 3 nights in January here celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Everything is spotlessly clean and very COVID safe. Our room was great with a really comfortable bed and we made plenty of use of our outdoor spa. Loved the continental breakfasts, especially that awesome home made toast and wonderful fruit salad. Thanks Trish and Iain.
