  Amazingly Beautiful Hotel - Horrible Food & Service

  The hotel is beautiful, inside and out, spectacular lanscaping and outdoor area, very relaxing. The service was horrible, very slow almost non existent. I can't remember worse quality food. The breakfast buffet and menu options were just tasteless. Just because the breakfast buffet is free doesn't mean you should reduce the quality! They served odorus, rotten milk and insisted it wasn't rotten!

  Nice for conference and a nice urban "patio" with pool

  Nega Bonger is a large and modern hotel with an attempt to have rustic safari-style rooms. We were 25 people at a conference and it worked well, although the conference room was long and narrow. Food served at buffets was nice, and there is a nice outdoor area with a small pool that I did not try and a nice gym that I used, but where your can sit with a laptop in the sun. Rooms are spacious with a nice writing desk and bathroom. Clean, good bed. However, the airline traffic was quite disturbing as many big planes come and go from Bole airport at night and the hotel seems to be very close. Check-out and billing procedures were slow.

  Very nice place to stay away from the Bole area

  The Nega Bonger is a pleasant hotel located away from most of the other major hotels. It is very nicely decorated and the rooms are of high quality. The only difficulty is that it is far from any other restaurant and the area is not one that many foreigners visit. We were charged 800 ETB to travel from the airport, but it is not that far. The breakfast is very nice and the facilities, health spa, pool, outdoor area well appointed.

  We have nice time but there is a lot of little thing need to be fix.

  We stayed 5 night in the family suite room, the room is quit nice but no practicality for family with 2 year old child. No proper table and chairs for eating I room, I have to ask several time to get a chair and so me and my husband sit and eat, using the small chair like a table. No children chair at all in all the hotel. The food is so so. But in general we have good time, It think you guys can fix this little things.

  Hard to fault

  Of all the hotels we have stayed in in Ethiopia, we voted unanimously that this was our family favourite. Lovely clean rooms with a local feel, reliable warm water, decent WiFi, super helpful staff, great food, reasonable prices. The gym, spa and pool are all great. I think the area it is located in is perhaps not the most central or most salubrious, but if this isn't an issue then I would have no hesitation whatsoever to recomend with 5 stars.
