Fabulous hotel with 5 star serviceStayed here with a friend for week at the end of September. We arrived in the very early hours of the morning. We we went to reception at 0830 to see if there was somewhere we could leave our bags and the owner very kindly advised us that a room was free and we could go straight to the room if we wanted. She also offered us breakfast although we werent supposed to check in until 2pm. The hotel is lovely, really nice and very helpful owners and staff, great quiet pool area with plenty of sun beds and comfy day beds . You can also swim up to 11pm which must be great in mid summer, too cold in the evening when we went which is to be expected for the time of year. Everywhere in the hotel was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was tasty with plenty of choice. We loved the area, it is quiet and perfect if you want a super relaxing holiday. There were 4 restaurants with great food and stunning views within walking distance of the hotel and a small supermarket. Yes it is hilly but worth it for the amazing views. Easy to get the bus to Corfu town and Dassia and stops are announced so you know where to get off. ( the stop is announced as the name of the supermarket next to the stop so remember that name and you are sorted). We also went to Albania for a night which was great fun. I am very well travelled as worked in the travel business for more than a decade and I can honestly say the friendly and individual service in this hotel exceeds the many 5 star hotels I have stayed in worldwide. I dont normally go back to a hotel as I like to see new places but it was so good that we have just booked to go back next year. 5 out of 5 for service, cleanliness and rooms( for some reason my iPad isnt allowing me to click on these)

A gorgeous place that I didn't want to ever leave!!This has to be one of the greatest hotels I have ever stayed in because it appealed to me in every way. I appreciate it won't be for everyone though so please read this review carefully. At the top of a steep hill, there is a walk from the hotel further down where my friend and I were dropped but that was fine as we are young and fit. Almost everywhere you go will be uphill / downhill so please be prepared if you have mobility issues then it wouldn't be for you. The hotel is lovely but there are unavoidable steps so again be aware! The room was basic but had everything you needed and was spotlessly clean! The view was gorgeous and bougainvillea covered the balcony (it was just starting to die off as it was September but I imagine a few months earlier it would have been even more lovely) The pool area is stunning and is adjacent to the garden where you can enjoy the shade from the trees. Plenty of loungers, more than enough really! Short walk to the beach which belongs to a hotel but Nefeli guests are allowed to sunbathe there too. Maid service every day which is a pleasant surprise! All the staff are friendly and can't do enough for you. The only down side is that there is only breakfast available which is plentiful but not enough to tide you over til dinner. There is only 1 local restaurant open for lunch at 2pm and the local shop is basic at best but does sell nice fruit. I would definitely return though as it is a beautiful place!!

Nice and quietVery nice hotel. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Rooms are clean though could have been a bit more spacious. Breakfast is good and the hotel has a pool at which serves varieties of snacks (proper lunch) and many beverages. The pool has a nice and quiet relaxing area (grass) with sunbeds and trees for shade. It has two restaurants close by for dinner. The perfect place for couples, if you want a quiet, relaxing stay!

Not what we expected.Very disappointing ! The pictures on the site don't match the reality! We had a reservation for 5 rooms, made 6 month in advance. We arrived at the hotel we where told the hotel is fully book with no reservation under our name. We show the lady at the front desk our reservation after 3 hours in the heat, (they don't use air com). the rooms are tiny and old! so simple do not look anything like the pictures.

Ideal for Quiet Getaway HolidayThe swimming pool is the best, we spent most of the times by the pool. There are several gazebos and hammocks that looked so romantic and comfy that you can lie in the sun/read the book or just sunbathing. The poolside bar is excellent, recommend! Georgia will go miles to make you happy with her homemade cooking! Sofia who is at the bar is so friendly and very helpful. The room is comfy, clean and quiet. Ellie, the reception is there to help you with any requests and even booked the restaurant for you. I had a surprise BD cake from Milos, the restaurant nearby (just next door) which arranged by Ellie! so impressed. If you are looking for the place with no fuss, no high price tag, romatic, friendly, good food and nice garden, here is the place. *We had bad experience with shuttle service booked from UK website, it is better to take a taxi as they will drop you so far away from hotel and you have to drag the luggages and yourself up the hill about .8kms to the hotel., lesson learned! However, it is nothing to do with the hotel at all. If you don' t mind walking uphill in the dark, it is ok. We will go back again in June 2020 though.
