  Charming hotel

  We use logis hotels in France, and thought that this one in Germany looked ok. What a lovely surprise! It was not with a wonderful view over green valleys as I had expected, as there was a lot of industry in the distance, but it was still an extensive view. However, it was the hotel that mattered. The moment we walked in we were given a wonderful welcome, and the proprietor continued to do just everything possible for us during our two night stay. The room was lovely - very modern with pine everywhere, so bright, welcoming, spacious with every facility. We didn't have a view, but wouldn't have swapped our lovely room. The bathroom was not over large, but large enough with a wonderful shower stall and rain shower. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and we had two great nignts' sleep. Breakfast was exceptional. Such a range of sweet and savoury foods, all of highest quality and beautifully displayed. They do not serve meals, but we enjoyed the 10 minute stroll (all on the flat) into pretty Bad Wimpfem. If you want to feel thoroughly cosseted, the this is the place to stay!

  Nice hotel in a nice town

  We had a room on the 3rd floor (no elevator) with a nice view on the river. The room was very functional and clean, a bit old fashion style. The hotel is nicely located at a short walking distance from the old town. Very nice breakfast. Efficient and great service.

  Great Decision!

  We stayed at the Neckarblick for 3 nights last week. What a great decision it was to stay there! The location, room and service were all terrific. Sitting in the breakfast area or the patio looking out over the Neckar River and surrounding towns was fabulous. The fact that it was an easy walk into the center of Bad Wimpfen made it easy to enjoy the medieval town. The hotel has been family owned for many years and their pride of ownership shines through. The breakfast buffet is phenomenal. Thanks for the wonderful stay in Bad Wimpfen!

  Un poco apartado

  Está a las afueras del pueblo, a unos 10 minutos andando. Es mejor no ir en coche al centro porque no es fácil aparcar. A la noche cierran la puerta principal y hay que acceder por una puerta lateral. La habitación estaba en un segundo piso sin ascensor. Era muy grande con dos ventanas a la calle y vistas sobre el río. El cuarto de baño también de buen tamaño. El desayuno sencillo y correcto. No había wifi por algún problema de conexiones, según nos explicaron.

  Friendly and quiet

  This place is more like a B & B then a hotel. It is in easy walking distance from the beautifull historical centre of Bad Wimpfen. Parking is free, next to the hotel and there is a small terrace with a nice view, to sit and have a drink outside when the weather is good. It is a friendly, family run place. Our room on the second floor was spacious, quiet with a nice view. On the downside the pillows were to soft, which is a personal preference and both days there was an old toothpaste stain in the drinking glass in the bathroom, which is a bit slack in these Covid days.
