  The resort itself was nice, mountain top with great views and a really peaceful place for sunrise. Rooms are clean and very spacious. Definitely need a motor bike to get up and down the mountain, very few cars are willing to go up/down the hill as it is quite steep. The reason for 2 stars is; 1. Staff did not speak English, so there was close to no communication (tours, checkout times, shuttles) 2. Restaurant closed early even though it was supposed to stay open till 9 PM 3. Breakfast was meant to be served at 8 AM, the staff arrived to start preparing at 8:30 AM 5. Food quality was OK, nothing special 6. General vibe of the resort was dead 7. Staff was snappy and rude. Pretty sure they are given no direction from management and extremely overworked. 8. Motorbike rentals are double the price from this resort. Stay somewhere else if youre expecting a fun stay. However, if youre happy with solo planning, this place is just fine.

  WARNING

  Im a frequent traveller, have never been to a worse hotel!!! Extremely dirty bedsheets, insects all over the room, nobody speaks a single word of english, construction work everywhere, air conditioner damaged, really disgusting smell from the bathroom drain, did not see any other guests etc etc etc. when i wanted to inform the manager about the really disgustingly dirty bedsheets he locked his door and tried to say in english/thai that he has to sleep now, absolute disaster! After several minutes with knocking at his door we got other bedsheets which also were really dirty! This is just a few of the things, really shocked about how disgusting the place is, we moved after one night

  Terrible - stay away from here!!!

  There were many problems with the villa that should have been resolved and even avoided from arrival. Firstly the villa was not clean there were cobwebs everywhere the bathrooms were filthy and the kitchen was unusable. The kettle had ants inside, all cuboards were not clean and on numerous occasions we found cockroaches around and inside the villa. The air conditioning did not work in 2 of the rooms (one was without a remote and stuck on, and another did not work it would only blow warm air) which as you can imagine in hot climate is one of, if not the the most important aspect to a villa/hotel. I personally was unable too sleep during the whole stay as my aircon was not fixed after telling staff more than 3 times. I was told it would be fixed (which it wasnt) and not to worry and even made to feel by staff that in other words it wasnt such a big deal. The showers were very dirty and a few would only produce cold water. There were many insects, bugs, gekos etc which is as expected in foreign countries but no precautions were made to keep them out of the villa, as we arrived most windows were left wide open and nearly all guests experienced an uneasy feeling after finding lizards bugs etc in our rooms. The laundry service was very poor, my clothes were returned missing 3 tshirts, a pair of boxers and 2 pairs of socks. One of my shorts was ruined as the tag had somehow been melted and all items of clothes returned faded. On the first day we asked for 3 massages and staff explained they could arrange it for us and told us the price of 800bht per person but after we had our massages we were told a different price of 1000bht per person, which i found very unprofessional. We contacted the concierge on 3 occasions and the problems were not resolved. We were even told that we would be in some way compensated for the issues upon checkout yet this was not the case at all. I would never stay here again and i advise other people to stay away from this villa.

  DO NOT VISIT HERE!!!

  If you want to come stay in a place where the electric strips the hot water barely works and the staff are rude this is the place for you. I tore a ligament in my leg and they just laughed and were so unhelpful. Dont waste your time or money!!

  Worst days of our life

  This villa is the definition of a catfish. After a long trip from another island we wanted to relax in our villa and just sleep. Before we could get in our house we were helped by a very annoying and obnoxious woman who did not speak english. Not being able to communicate and the lack of respect from the staff made it a very cold welcome. (not looking at you when they talk to you, continuing to talk thai even when you explain that you do not understand them and some more annoying traits from the staff) Then the house, When we switched on the lights they were all flickering like some disco lights. We had a game console and wanted to connect this to one of the tvs in the house but none of them worked properly. Also, I understand that it is thailand and that you will find bugs wherever you are. However, we came back from a beachday and literally saw an army of bugs on the veranda. They blocked the door and we had to boil water and throw this all over the deck in order to just be able to walk in and out of the house. The things that I have named is just a small list of things that were wrong with this house. I could go on and on. I just want to warn the people who are looking to rent this house. A final thing that I want to say is that the person who we rented the house from. Andreas. A stone cold person who did not show any understanding. This man is just after money and doesnt give a ratsass about the people who is scamming by letting them rent this overpriced crappy appartment.
