  Fine hotel but not in the nature that we expected

  We stayed in this hotel for one night. We thought it was in a naturepark but it was in a small residential. The forest was nearby and from the hotel you look to houses. The pictures shown a very modern hotel and rooms. But we found it a little bit outdated. The breakfast was prepared in the lobby in front of the reception. We found that not hygienic. People from outside walked by and there were flies on the yoghurt.

  Serious issues...

  2 nights, half business, half leisure Pro's -Although located on the edges of town, you can walk immediately into the woods and fields of the Odenwald = beautiful. -Sauna/Wellness Con's -Prices -Quality of the food was average/standard and not what you would expect from a Wellness/Naturkultur Hotel -The whole hotel smells like chloride -Hotel is completely outdated: except for the wellness and bathrooms. -When at the bar on Tuesday it took ages for someone to come and serve us drinks.

  Hotel + Breakfast just average

  I didn't go to the spa so my review doesn't include it. My room was small but okay for one person and clean. I like that the room had no carpet but laminate. One of the elevators was broken (as I was told for a long time now). The service during the breakfast was very poor. I asked for teawater and instead of brigning it to my table the waiter just brought it to the buffet without even telling me that there is hot water now. The buffet itself was average but the choices of tea were really good. Next business trip I will probably try another Hotel but I wouldn't mind to spend another night here if my colleague wishes to.

  Wonderful place to stay

  Love this hotel. Great place to stay if you are visiting Heidelberg and/or have business in Mannheim or Sinsheim. Directly at the Neckarsteig, one to the most beautiful walkways in Southern Germany. You can walk out of its doors directly into the forest. If you have a car any easy drive to visit Black Forest and back in one day. Also hotel is more than willing to drive you to local train station if you don't have a car. Food is outstanding. Especially love staying there during Christmas and New Years. Can't wait to visit again in the Spring.

  Psssst... are you looking for a nice wellness hotel in the "Odenwald" area?

  ..it is a bit out of the way ... but the location and the view from the upper rooms is fantastic over the Odenwald .... the staff is very friendly and courteous ... but ... it is missing personal ... my The room has been refreshed .. the bathroom completely renovated ... very good WIFI ... a bottle of water for free ... great wellness area and great pool ... the vegetarian dinner was a treat .. the waiter was not motivated. but not unfriendly ... the breakfast is rich and varied ... for a weekend I would come back ... Thank you for the nice stay ...
