Amazing! The Naturhotel Waldklause was amazing. Our family of five stayed there for ten days. We used it as a base to hike in the Oetztal. Everything about the hotel was superb. Frau Silke at the check in desk was very courteous and answered all of our questions patiently. The owner, Frau Auer was a generous host. The waitstaff in the dining room were excellent, including Phillip who helped us get our multiple courses on time. The food was really amazing. We had the hotel make us lunch sandwiches for our hikes- this was really helpful and useful and they also included a lot of fruit which were enjoyed by all. We had a pool and a sauna in our suite which we used daily. The rooms were cleaned promptly and towels were restocked every day. Everyone in the family loved this summer trip and cant wait to get back there soon.

BeautifulGreat place and atmosphere. Never found such a good food in Austria. Top wellness areas. Rooms and whole Hotel is very clean. Great to have te free entrance to the Aqua Dome. It's not that cheap, but absolutely worth of it. It deserves the title of best wellneshotel Austria.

Wonderful stay with childrenWonderful hotel, will try and add something extra from other reviews...we stayed with 2 children ages 12 and 14 n the Waldklause suite in June. Firstly the website is a bit tricky to navigate so best call or email the hotel to get availability in an efficient way! Our suite with 2 bedrooms was beautiful, even had a kitchenette and full sized fridge. Wifi was already setup there, despite other reviews. Although not targeted at kids for older (quieter) kids this is a great hotel. For the food at dinner, there is a daily changing menu which has 5 courses, with a choice of 2-3 dishes (except dessert) for each course, including vegetarian. In addition there are other choices for each course that don't change, but are available all week if you don't fancy the daily choices. Furthermore there is a kids menu so they can swap in the main dishes with simpler dishes, still high quality. The "afternoon tea/late lunch" is soup, salad buffet. and lots of cakes/pastries. There is also a small menu if you prefer to pay for something more substantial. Water teas and coffees free throughout. We took the bikes out a couple of time. You can reserve them from 24 hours ahead of time, but they never seemed booked up. The smallest one was just suitable for our small 12 year old. There are many great cycle paths up and down the valley. The pool was nice, limited access to spa area for kids, and everyone needs to already change into pool gear before going to pool/spa area. There was a yoga class and an organised hike everyday. although we didn't do tase, we did use the gym area which was well equipped and no one else was in it! Free access to the dome swimming thermal place 5 minutes walking was good to have, especially if you have younger kids or want a lazy pool day. Some amazing via ferrata and climbing in the area. Local sports shops will rent you the equipment and you just take yourself off (or get a guide). The town itself is very small and nothing to write home about but the surrounding scenery and activities make up for this, and you won't be eating out anyhow.

Best of all wellness hotelsMy large family stayed there for my parents 50 year wedding anniversary in November and we still think of our trip, with a big smile on our face. Ive been to many wellness hotels, but the Waldklause is my favorite. It is perfect in so many ways. You dont get lost due to it being gigantic, like some others. Its beautiful, but you dont feel constantly underdressed and not fancy enough. I am not sure how they do it, but despite the fancy decoration and gorgeous set up, it still feels relaxed and casual. The spa area is amazing and something we are still reminiscing about, is the food. They use all organic products from local farmers and the way they prepare it is not only very tasteful, but healthy at the same time. My sister and I were late In our planning and decided that we would like to send flowers to our parents room, on a Saturday evening. It was no problem. The bouquet was wonderful and quickly delivered to their room. Even the owners of the hotel congratulated them and left them a very thoughtful present. My pooch was welcome there, as well, without charging me an arm and a leg charging to bring him, which he was super happy about. The staff was super friendly, but in a sincere way. I truly love this place and hope to be back sometime soon. I can highly recommend it. Thanks to the Waldklause for making our stay a memorable one...In a very good way. We couldnt have chosen a better place for the family celebration. Thanks to the Waldklause. Keep up the good work.
