Terrible hotel and an even worse Manager, MorellLiterally the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel and Ive traveled the world. My boyfriend and I were excited for our weekend get-a-way to Denver, Co. Both being cannabis enthuisists, I thought it would be nice for us to stay at the Nativ- they are 420 friendly on the balconies of the hotel rooms. I booked the room via Priceline. When we arrived, we were nicely greeted by Carmen the front desk agent. After the typical check-in experience we headed to the second floor to the room we thought we booked. Once we made it to the room, we had to call Carmen up because we were unable to use the key card to get in the room. Well thats because it was being occupied by another couple! Carmen then led us to another room (one without a balcony) so that we could at least drop our bags off while she figured out what could be done to rectify the situation. Once in the room we were shocked at how DISGUSTING the unit was. Dog hair was everywhere. There was sticky stuff on nearly every service. Crumbs on the nightstand. Human hair on the bed. AND URINE IN THE TOILET. Awful! Long story short, we booked another room at another hotel and while waiting for the check in time for the new hotel I reached out to Priceline to see about getting a refund for The Nativ. They explained that in order to process the refund, they needed the approval from the manager-Morell. Well coincidently we were in the lobby and she was right there at the hostess stand avoiding the call from Priceline. I then asked to speak to her and was told to wait a bit. It took her 25 mins to take five steps into the waiting area to address our concern. Once we chatted, she oblied that she would appove the refund for Priceline and that if they didnt call her back, she would reach out to them and rectify the situation. Well that was two weeks ago, shes been dodging my calls and having her staff make excuses for her. They all continue to say that she is there, but will not come to the phone. I then call and say I was applying for a job and she gets right on the phone. She ensures me that she will rectify the situation and would return my call back in a few hours. And of course she didnt do either. I just called back and she hung up in my face. Im surprised anybody has allowed this women to be in charge of their business. Now i must dispute the charge as fraud.

TerribleTrashy....Rude staff. Just plain poor service. Go to Motel 6. I have travelled all over the world and this hotel is way worst than a 3rd world country hut. The huts in Africa are cleaning than this dump.

Horrible Experience!! Fraud!! Stay AwayThis review will be long but worth the read as I will share with you everything that we went through at this hell-hole hotel We stayed at the Nativ hotel from September 22nd-26th and it was the worst mistake we made on this trip. We were met at the front desk with a new manager and new front desk girl who instead of charging my credit card $100 for incidentals (it doesnt mention any of this on their website or at the time of payment) they charged my card $800. Immediately they realized their mistake and apologized and voided the charge. Upon arrival the room was clean and organized/no complaints on this. The balcony was dirty and there were blunts & joints everywhere. In the 5 days we were at this hotel our room was only cleaned once. We had to constantly call the front desk (from our cellphones because the phones in the room do not work) and ask for towels, toilet paper, water, bedsheets. I say cleaned because all the housekeeper did was tuck the bed back in! Did not change any of the sheets or replace the bathroom garbage. They have a nice keypad by the door that you click on when you dont want anyone to disturb you or when you need house keeping. This does not work, they have no way of knowing what you click on which means you have to wait inline at the front desk to ask them to clean your room and sometimes (like it happened to us everyday) they still wont clean your room because theyre short staffed or the house keeper left already. We booked this hotel specifically because its 420 friendly (even though you can only smoke in the balcony which doesnt sound appetizing in 9* degree weather) and its right on downtown as well as having a club right downstairs to enjoy your nights specially if youre new to the city. Well if you happen to leave the hotel on a Friday or Saturday night around the time the club has opened which I believe is 11pm you will have to wait in line (with all the other people waiting to enter the club) to be allowed into your room. Security legit did not let my husband and I go to our rooms until a line of people went inside the club. We complained about this to one of the many managers who work there (and constantly drink on the job) and she said that security should not have done that but that they are trying their best We had 4 friends come visit us and were harassed constantly by security at the front desk and one of my friends was told he couldnt enter because his outfit (sweatpants + t-shirt + a jersey) was not up to their dress code!? Since when do hotels have a dress code for you to visit people in their rooms? On their website it says that it allows you to bring pets which is super cool but no where on there does it say that the front desk managers will have their pets with them. One of them had a chiwawa who barked all day at everyone. Back to the $800 that they accidentally charged me, today makes 5 days and still no money back. In these 5 days they have told me any and every excuse known to man from weve already refunded you 2 payments of $540 ***LIES*** to we refunded you the money before you arrived at the hotel because we realized our mistake how? I had to end up calling chase and filing a fraud charge to be able to get the money refunded to my account. This hotel is in a great location in downtown very close to everything but the management here runs this place like a club that has rooms for rent instead of a hotel that also has a club. No one is profesional or helpful. I do not recommend the Nativ hotel to anyone!

Do not ever go to Nativ hotelThis is a horrible place to stay!!!!! I came to enjoy a weekend with my husband and everything went wrong. The ac in room was falling apart, the manager stated she will upgrade us to a new room and now the new room that supposedly was an upgrade Ac does not work at all. The rooms are dirty, not up to standards at all. I tried really hard to stay but the service here is not acceptable the only kind person was Sherry she tried to help but the manager was not helpful nor came up to apologize or assist.

HorribleIf you stay there and expect the things in your room to work, they won't. When you ask the front desk to fix the things that don't work, they won't. When you check out, and ask if anyone was made aware of the room issues, they will say yes, and that a manager will be in touch with you. They won't be. I called in a month after my stay, since I was waiting for management to call me, and there were no notes for my stay, and they had no idea about anything. Your money can be used at better places.
