Wonderful Brilliant!I was there with my Italian partner over Easter, Dudes as he will pick you up from the train station, don't worry, you will feel welcomed into the Umbrian way of life straight away. I arrived after a [--] Ryanair flight to Rome (I live in The UK) , I met Laura at Rome train station, we took the local train to Umbria, it carries on to to Ancona but who cares, it was comfortable and cheap. A quick call to Guiseppe the manager of the agriturist, and hey we are away- He picked us up from the station, straight away made us feel welcome, he is the [--] man! very relaxed, no stress, just massive relax, he took us from our train to Umbrian heaven. We had a train about lunchtime so we arrived in Umbria after lunch. He showed us to our rooms, which were were brilliant, and asked us, if we were hungry? He knew that we had missed lunch, of course I was hungry, he said freshen up, ill see you in the bar,10 minutes later we were in the bar, just us, he had opened it just for us, but no stress, always a smile, another 10 minutes later we were presented with the best Italian snack, ham cheese and red wine, all made in house. I have travelled alot and I know what a snack means in a hotel, or motel, this was handmade. After that we went to the room, wonderful. I cannot say how much I love this place, the food was always brilliant, the wine excellent, its absolutely worth the effort, they deserve it, i have lived in Rome, Milan and Florence, so I know what I am talking about, the food.....mmmmm actually back in the UK writing this, great walks to the countryside, and great breakfast even for an English, there is salami, cheese, bread, go there you wont regret it

Great food and good locationWe came here for one night with a Smartbox. Despite some confusion with the original booking, Giuseppe was very helpful. The agriturismo is right in the middle of the countryside, really quiet and peaceful. The location is ideal for visiting Spoleto, Spello, Assisi etc. The apartment was quite spacious but nothing special. It was not very well-equipped for self-caterers. We had a four course meal included with our smart box. This consisted of a delicious starter with fresh vegetables, cold cuts, a wonderful frittata and an exquisite pastry filled with ham and fresh ricotta. The pasta dish was tasty and filling. Portions were very generous. The locally produced sausages were really good,as was the meat. We hardly had room for dessert which was a choice of tiramisu or panna cotta. Staff and service were good.

Amazing place and service - can't recommend enoughWe could not have asked for a better location or service - the team go out of their way to ensure everyone enjoys their stay - the pool is wonderful and the rooms are spacious and well equipped. It is worth booking a taxi from the station if you come via train - as the walk is not a short one, but once you've arrived you won't need to leave!

Worst everBeautiful place, enchanting location, unfortunately led by a gentlemen who has no clue about hospitality: unfriendly, menacing behavior, dirty (imagine holes in the door, where anybody can spy in the room, not cleaned bathrooms, smelly rooms, leftovers from breakfast still in place in the evening and so on....). The first time in decades of business and leisure travel I had to leave a place.
