  Rest in a beautiful and quiet place

  We order a transfer from Lingshui railway station to hotel, and the car was waiting us at the agreed time. Very helpful front desk staff, especially Lan Ting Ting. She respond to all our questions and help us with staying in resort. Our room has the bath on balcony with a great view. The location of resort was excellent, the territory was very green and clean. Resort has a few pools. Breakfast was ok, but no great, mainly Chinese food.

  Good surprise

  For work my wife had to stay at this hotel. We decided to come to spend the weekend with her at the same hotel despite some bad comments we read in trip advisor. We had a very good time at this hotel : - hotel location is really nice, in the middle of mountains and with rainforest trees everywhere. - the room was big and had a jacuzzi with thermal water in the room terrace. - dinner and breakfast buffet has mostly Chinese choices but there was also barbecue and omelettes for example. - staff attitude was perfect. Small car drivers were easily available and professional. Special thanks to Miss YU, who we met when we arrived and who was very helpful and super nice with our kids during our stay. For all these reasons we will come back again to spend some quality time here.

  Stay away from this Hotel!

  As the girls in the reception said - regardless of what kind of room you book you Will not have a view over the mountains because of our treeline. So the rooms with "mountain view" is nothing But a scam, As you can see from my Photo. Also the facitilies are lacking in quality due to No renovations. My tip is to stay a bit further up the road at dubble tree by Hilton. Its cheaper, better maintained and with a clear mountain view.

  Jungle heaven

  We stayed for 2 nights and it was an excellent relaxing time. You feel like in jungle with small houses (2floors) sprayed in forest (sometimes to close each other). Its very rare to feel isolated and in quiet place in China. (For sure if you are close to swimming pools, Chinese people are speaking loudly) Room was confortable with hot spring in balcony with pool view. Cleaning was not so perfect with some dead animals. Regarding food, dont expect high quality and almost only Chinese food. We climbed mountain in national park at only 3 km from hotel and we were very impressed with rock climbing at end (be ready to climb a lot of stairs)

  Location, location, location!

  If you have stayed at a resort at Sanya before, you might be a little disappointed as this place is a less luxurious resort and a little outdated, too. And, to be fair, it is also a lot cheaper. We were perfectly happy with our stay, though. This is mainly due to the location. The buildings are surrounded by forest, there are little trails that lead you through it along a little creek (if you dont want to use the golf buggies that drive you to the different houses). We loved being in the middle of nature! What is more, there were several hot spring basins spread out over the property, and some pools especially the infinity pool with two levels was beautifully set into the surroundings! There is a bar by the pool where you can get soft drinks. Too bad they dont offer tea or coffee there! Another plus is that the hotel is quite close to Qixian 7 fairy mountain, which is quite a climb but very worth visiting even if you dont want to go to the top, as they have nice wooden trails in the rain forest that show some dramatic scenery. There is a shuttle to the mountain from the hotel. The first room we were offered had quite a moldy smell, but the second one was fine. It rains a lot in the mountains, so its only natural that you have to deal with a little humidity in the rooms. They have a machine that dries the air in the room, so that can help. The room was quite small, but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean, functional and in good shape. There is a shielded bath tub on the balcony that provides you with hot water from the hot springs. Breakfast and dinner is in a crowded restaurant we didnt like the atmosphere there very much as they are cooking and grilling in there and you will notice the smell of it in your clothes when you leave. You can have hot water to steam some food on your table, they will grill meat sticks and fish for you and there is quite a large choice of mostly Asian food. Unfortunately, its cold most of the time, as they leave the pots open. We didnt try the Ethnic barbecue outside that might be nice. If you care to leave the resort, there is a simple nice Chinese place quite close to it. The seating area is hidden behind the house and you sit in the middle of palm tree trunks around you. Overall an enjoyable stay that we would not have wanted to miss out on.
