  Gigantic new room with free high speed in-room wifi

  It is situated in a new remote part of the city with barely anything interesting in sight. However, we loved our room the minute we stepped in. Everything look so brandnew with its beautifully designed carpet, furnishing and bathroom/toilet. The room was so huge from end to end. We were truly impressed with the availability of free wifi in the room which is normally only available in hotel lobby in China. It was so convenient with wifi that we could use our iphone, ipad & surf the internet while relaxing in the comfortable bed. Love, love the free internet service which was excellent. We were impressed that the tour company puts us in such lovely 5 star hotel. Enjoyed our overnite stay & have a good night sleep and get much work done on the computer with the well designed long desk.

  Spacious, comfy but out of town

  Stayed there overnight as part of a package tour. 1. Location Hotel is situated north of the river in a fairly remote part of the city. It takes about 30mins in good traffic to get to the city centre. No amenities near the hotel with the nearest convenience store about 3-4km away. Construction underway around the hotel which hopefully would give some life to this place. There is a condo next to the hotel if you are thinking company. 2. Room We stayed in a loft unit. Extremely spacious with the basic fittings. TV channels limited to mainland shows. No bath tub in our assigned room. Bed is king size with a dedicated wifi for each room (a pleasant surprise!) 3. Facilities. Basic gym setup on the second floor. No dumbbells and the floor makes a creaking noise. Fairly spartan. No pool or other entertainment facilities. 4. Breakfast Ordinary for the lack of a better word. While it claims to be an international spread, food served was mainly mainland-style. Adding cereals and scrambled eggs to the menu doesn't qualify. 5. Service There is no restaurant in the hotel and the remote location means food is not readily available. We ordered room service from a limited menu. Avoid the pasta and Chinese dishes. The beef burger is the best bet. And skip the desserts at all cost. Food took a long time to be delivered and an even longer time to be cleared (took 3 calls to remind the staff to clear). Having stayed at many hotels, this is the first that I see quarreling front counter staff. For a guest, it makes for uncomfortable viewing and definitely a tick in the wrong box.

  Hotel out of city and just a one night stopover for us but would have complained if staying longer. Rooms need a good clean facilities poor no bar poor breakfast . Feels like the hotel has seen better days.

  This hotel is on the other side of the river, distant from the city, but easy accessbale by taxi or by tube (5 minutes walk). The recption is welcoming to me, but I did not agree with what I saw amongst themselves (perhaps the reception is having a bad day). The room is spacious, beds are comfortable, adequate space for storage and study. However, I did not feel it is clean, the carpet has a square hole! Noisy music at later night. Breakfast and its service are average. If you wish to dine, perhaps you have to go much further to Nanjing city centre. The lobby assistant desks is excellent, helping with travelling information and booking taxi. Wifi is only avaliable in the lobby, which is not ideal if you are on a business trip. Overall, good value for money. There are a lot banks and hair salons, withdraw cash and spend it on hair cuts within seconds (20 Chinese RMB for a hair cut).

  Appalling hotel!

  This hotel is vastly different to the advertisement and ratings online. The staff speak almost no English. The restaurant has only Chinese cuisine all of which is served cold. Even the food that should be hot! The rooms are dirty and have very poorly designed bathrooms. Using the shower caused water to soak almost every surface in the bathroom. The furniture is stained with who knows what and the carpet is dirty and in the case of my room, not even covering the whole floor. This hotel is definitely not an international hotel! Online states that the hotel has a spa and massage facilities. This is not the case. Overall it is extremely expensive for what I believe should be a 1 or 2 star rated hotel. Definitely wouldn't advise staying at this hotel.
