  Good value for money

  Nice room and very friendly staff. The guesthouse was clean and neat, the room was spacious with tv and a small bathroom. Excellent wifi connection. Absolutely value for the 700 bath we paid a night:-)

  As nice as it gets

  We have stayed twice in the main building and can't be more satishfied. The rooms facing the beach are not only large, very clean and comfortable but also light. They even have a balcony. The beach is a two minute walk away and if you ask the staff for something they deliver. Nana House is in the more quit part of Cha-am Beach but if you desire more night-life this small town is very walkable.

  Very over-rated

  From various reviews, I was expecting something better. Yes, our top floor "sea vew" room was quite big, clean and pleasant, but the sea was little in evidence compared to the car park, two roads, an untidy sprawl of beach covered in deck chairs and tall trees (the latter being fine). Most surprising is the small, rather mean lobby, with a coffee area in front, a tatty and patched plastic couch opposite the reception desk and a row of toilets and showers at the back for the beach loving public to pay for and use. The trouble is that guests have to walk right past all this to access the stairs! It's not really acceptable when rooms are 1200, 1500 or 1800 baht....not cheap by Thai standards! Some staff were very offhand and not much bothered, but others were much more helpful and proactive. The so-called American breakfast was rather mean....and there was no choice: take it or leave it! Again, not acceptable at those prices! Hotels are very much in competition in Cha Am, so I think that one could do much better by just showing up, driving or walking along and checking what's available.

  nice and mostly clean

  Nana House is a nicely designed hotel at the north end of the beach road in CHA-AM. We had a room in the second house in a side road. Public parking was available. The dirty beach and the meager breakfast with 3 HALF TOAST SLICES per person drove us away. The bath room and the lobby showers and toilets could have been more clean. The staff was shallow-friendly but inapt or uninterested.

  Clean and spacious rooms

  We moved to Nana House from the Methavalai hotel because we went to the beach in this area everyday, and we´re very happy that we did so. The beach a minute walk from the hotel, with very good service from the staff and also from the people who works down at the beach. Friendly and helpful staff, we were much happier here at Nana House. Next time we go to Cha-Am we will also book a room here. We had our two girls with us, and everyone was so happy to help us and the cleaning was excellent. No matter how much sand and ice-cream the children did manage to drag onto the floors or the beds, it would always be neat and clean when we came back from the beach or whatever. Aircondition was working really well, the one we had at our room in the Methavalai did not work so good so it was a relief to check in at Nana House. Quiet area, we slept well and was very happy with our stay at the Nana House. Wi-fi also worked well, I can´t remember if it was free or if we paid for it, but if we paid it wasn´t much. Our kids loved that the rooms had big photos blown up on the walls behind the beds, images such as waterfalls and beaches etc.
