  Cater mainly for Dutch customers

  Recently returned from an 11 stay at nana Angela, arrived late at night and was shown to a superior studio initially when we had paid the extra for a 1 bed apartment, went back to reception and after a few phone calls were moved to a 1 bed apartment. Didnt feel the need for the air con as bedroom had 2 windows and with balcony door open too there was enough of a breeze. They mainly cater for Dutch customers as we felt that every other person staying there was Dutch, we mainly keep ourselves to ourselves so this wasnt a massive problem but we did go to the chicken on a spit night and there was one welsh family that we could talk to and the meal was enjoyable but no entertainment so didnt go the following week. My biggest praise has to be the maid and how hard she works, had towels changed most days and bed changed very regularly and she left toilet rolls when the folder said you have to provide your own. Would have preferred a balcony that received the sun in the morning but we did get a lovely sunset view of an evening so you cant have everything. I did pay more for this apartment than I have in the past for the same set up and generally expected a bit more from a superior apartment and just think its a one bed apartment rather than superior. Staff all seemed friendly but we never usually ask for much, although on the first day my husband (who works out regularly) went to reception to be greeted by Angela saying mamma Mia at his body and then didnt really acknowledge me when she saw me which I didnt appreciate but didnt get offended. On our last day we kept the apartment for an extra 6 hours and were charged a full day for this and also note there is a small tax to pay, we did feel a built guilty that the maid has to work late to clean out room ready for the next guests going in though. Its a lovely typically Greek village and close to beach and plenty of tavernas around with a good variety of offerings. We hired quads on 2 separate days to break from lying on the beach and explored the island both ways along the coast, I love the typically Greek villages and really enjoyed my time in Analipsi.

  Excellent hotel

  We stayed for 2 weeks and found the location excellent. 5 mins from the beach, 5 mins from restaurants in the village. Very clean room and pool. Although we were self catering, we had breakfast and some evening meals in the hotel which were excellent. Highly recommend this hotel.

  Perfect! Never Disappoints

  Just come back from an amazing stay at Nana Angelas. What can I say.... Amazing place, Great hosts, Brilliant location, Spotlessly clean, Beautiful pool area and never disappoints. Angela made every effort to make our stay comfortable and nothing was too much for her. Absolutely brilliant host. The apartments are extremely clean, modern and comfortable. Could not fault them. The Pool area is one of the best Ive been too, extremely clean, lots of room and Lots of sun loungers for everyone. Highly recommend these family run apartments, they are a 2minute walk to the beach and near so many great restaurants/tavernas that sell a range of food including traditional Greek food.

  Perfect place with nice staff and good facilities

  Nana Angela is a perfect place if you want to enjoy your vacation in a lovely, not too big, accommodation where the Greek locals are very hospitale to make sure you have a wonderful time. We highly recommend this place instead of a big accommodation such as a hotel with a lot of guests. At Nana Angela you won't feel like a number and you will feel very welcomed by the staff everyday. The apartments and facilities (such as the pool) are very clean and well equipped with enough space. The beach and restaurants are around the corner. Besides that, you can rent a car at Nana Angela or just walk to the bus stop for a nice day to Heraklion, Stalida or other places. We love Analipsi because it is a small village and not too touristic. You can see how the locals live and enjoy the lovely family tavernes where they serve the best local food. We had breakfast included which was very nice. You can choose a lot of different things and everything is fresh. The staff makes sure you start your day well! If you want to eat or drink something here it is delicious and not expensive. We had a wonderful vacation. Efcharistó! Greetings from Evi and Brandon from the Netherlands.

  Another fantastic holiday!!

  This is our second year at Nana Angelas apartments and again we had a brilliant time! Now as things are completely different with the pandemic, we were naturally hesitant and to be honest nervous, about going abroad. But with a very good line of communication with Angela our minds were put to rest and we were told all safe guards, or as much they could do were being taken. And this was proven right from the moment we arrived. All the staff there did their up most to make sure everything was clean and safe, but not letting it get in the way of us enjoying our stay. Our room was overlooking the pool and had a large balcony to sit out on, which I did a good few times with a cold beer after a day on the beach, or a day out sightseeing. As for sight seeing, for the first time we hired a car from Angela and what a difference it made to our stay. We initially hired it for 3 days, but was so impressed with what we saw in those days we hired it for an extra 2. The price was more than reasonable and to be honest, the money it saves on cabs and day trips, it virtually pays for itself. We would spend the days finding new beaches or towns or actually going to points of interest, and gotta say the Cave of where Zeus was born ( legend has it)was my favourite. Not only for the spectacle of the cave but the drive up there and the views, its very high so take it easy, but definitely worth the white knuckles from your passengers The apartments and bar and poolside areas at Nana Angelas as usual are kept spotless, this was as it was last year and standards definitely havent slipped. The food and drinks/snacks are all of a high standard and freshly made. You can eat in the shade by the bar or around the pool, and someone is more than happy to bring your order to you. As for the pool, its big enough for a good swim, if you catch it right, early morning,early evening. And is great for the family to muck about in on the many different inflatables you can buy these days ( pizzas/ melons / ice lollys etc etc...) Its also very child friendly with a small splash pool to the side for toddlers. The local restaurants are also very good on the way to the beach and those beach facing. Analipsi town also has some excellent restaurants so we strongly recommend you take the short walk to check them out. So to try to and sum up. We really needed to get away this year and again Nana Angela delivered a fantastic and stress free much need break. So a huge thanks to all at Nana Angela Apartments, you did it again X Were now thinking about next year and when we can get over, which has put a smile on my wifes face. And we as we know, happy wife happy life!!
