Avoid.I really wanted to like this place. It looked lovely and charming etc but it fell short. I booked for 2 nights and sadly had to leave after spending exactly 1 night - a total of only 12 hours. I arrived 9 pm, which is one hour after the checkin time of 8 pm. The key was left for me with a form to fill out - which is understandable. I went about looking for my said bungalow and I could not find it. The markings are terribly poor. I called the hotel number (I assume the owner) - she said 5 mins. I waited. By this time the resort dog decided I was an absolute stranger and started to bark his head off at me. I called again, she said 5 mins. The dog finally was next to me, almost ready to attack when I again called and this time really lost my temper. She finally appeared, took me to the bungalow. I asked if there is any food place around - nope, none. Nothing around at all which she could recommend. I slept without any dinner after a long journey from Chiang Mai. Some of the things that fail: A. The resort is terribly dark and glum at night. It is absolutely creepy. It doesnt take a lot to invest in brighter lighting really. There wasnt a soul in sight. It seemed none of the other bungalows were inhabited(?) B. It is far from everything of interest. No auto passes here, no nothing. The food places are non existent. Thankfully I could use the GRAB app to get me to places and to get to the bus station from there. Unless you have a rent car or a rent bike - you arent getting out of here easily to anywhere. C. The details of cleanliness are missed. The fridge was grossly dirty. The Perrier bottle had a fading sticker indicating how old it was ! D. There is no proper way to close the window ! It is just a wire mesh and a curtain. On a cold night, this is deeply uncomfortable. On top, the smell of crop burning wafted through the window the whole night. I have asthma and I wish I had known this detail. The blankets are very light and there is no way of escaping the cold at night. I didnt get any sleep the whole night. At checkout, I mentioned clearly that I was booked for 2 nights. Due to some language gap however, I was charged for one night only. This was a welcome respite - as I would have definitely asked for a refund. The place looks lovely in the morning - but the number of details missed are too many to give it a second chance.

Exceptional experienceWhat an amazing experience we have had at naga hill resort. From start to finish the experience has been astonishing. From the moment we got there to the moment we left the service was out of this world. We only stayed for 1 night but if we didn't have a flight the following day we would have stayed longer. When we arrived we were greeted and told they treat everyone like family and they certainly did. Our bags were brought to our room and the place is so peaceful. At the pool they brought us water towels and service was there at all times. The food we had breakfast and dinner and it was beautiful, they could not have done enough for us. The rooms are beautiful very clean and comfortable . I could not reccomend naga hill resort enough it has been hands down the best place we have ever stayed in. We were also giving a lift to the airport by one the fantastic team members . This experience has been so overwhelming in the best way . Thank you to everyone working there that made our experience amazing we will definitely be back

Amazing, cozzy bungalows: best place to stay!We travelled many weeks across Thailand and our stay at Naga Hill was from far the best! We spent 3 nights there and we wouldve extended our stay shall we didn't have a flight back already booked. The resort is outside the city making it the prefect place to relax and have quality time, while enjoying the nature and the sorrundings, and a delicious breakfast at their restaurant and, if you asked for it, a tasty dinner prepared with heart and love, all orquested by the professional and friendly Manager Matsaya whos all the time care of your needs and wishes. Since arriving to leaving, all staff were more than friendly and warming, making us feel like family. The bungalow was beautiful, cozzy and charming, clean and tidy and prepared with all details: full equipped, lovely comfortable bed, nice shower. The swimming pool is huge and wonderful where you can relax at the sun terrace and enjoy the sunset. Many thanks to the whole staff, especially to their professional, friendly and always helpful manager Matsaya for the amazing experience, and to the owners Pat & Vincent with whom we also shared interesting talks and wonderful time. We highly recommend Naga Hill and well definitely go back at first opportunity!
