  Good Value

  Stayed for a weekend here and it was good value given the proximity to the ski slope. Rooms were basic and slightly dated and bathroom was small. The rooms were clean. There was a lovely large lounge area which was great as we went with friends and it meant we could chat and play games in the evening. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

  Super Great Hotel and Service

  I stayed for 2 nights from Sept 16th. I was able to check -in very smoothly and the room was perfect. I know most hotels have good beds to sleep on, but the beds here were amazing. I was able to sleep so well. The room was very clean. Unlucky for me, there was a typhoon that same weekend and so I got extremely wet from the rain. I was so worried about my clothes, bags and everything, then, SPRINGS HOTEL to the rescue!! They had a clothes/shoes/bags/whatever, massive heated special drying room!! And it was free to use, WOW!!! That was a life saver. They also had a fridge downstairs that I could put my things in. The service from the staff was out of this world, clearly this a well run family business and they treat their customers like family. I was spoiled and I love this hotel so much. I have stayed in 3 different hotels in the area and by far this is the best for service, family feeling, quality. Also, they have a lovely massive bath which was so good. If you are staying in Neaba, this is the place to stay

  Ski 2018

  An excellent family Ryokan.....reminds me of the pensions I visited in Germany! Warm, friendly, close proximity to the slopes. The staff will take you to the ski area and bring you back in the evening. Rooms are basic but warm and comfortable; just what the body needs after a day on the slopes! The feature has to be the open fires in the living area and lounge! The latter is marvelous; perfect to relax after dinner with your book or discussions with friends. Food is wholesome and plenty of it! Thoroughly recommended and great value.

  Ski Naeba

  A cost, warm and friendly hotel. Close proximity to the slopes, excellent food for the price, the open fires provided a warm welcome to all guests. The decor could do with a spring clean, however, the atmosphere is warm and relaxing.

  excellent service by staff there, great location

  very warm and friendly staff there. It is not new and huge hotel, but the staff are definitely out of my expectations. We arrived at night in winter time with heavy snow, hotel boss arranged a free dinner for us, this was a really kind act! Before arrival, I sent email to hotel and the boss replied promptly. Hotel staff can speak little English, but it is good enough. Room is clean and big with all you need (hair dryer, separated toilet, bath area and washing basin. Comfortable bed and pillow. Hotel also has ski equipment rental, lift tickets, all in a very low price (a lot lower than ski resort). My son accidentally broke ski pole and the boss even didn't ask us to pay! I really don't think I can find anyone nicer than him! Shuttle from hotel to ski slope in the morning and return in the afternoon. Actually, it is just 5 mins walk way from ski slope, very convenient. There are a small restaurant in the hotel, breakfast different everyday, from Japanese to Western, big portion. At the basement level there is a huge bath area, very relaxing after a tiring ski day! Wifi in common room, it also has a grand piano, projector and vcd/dvd for children to watch cartoon (in Japanese I guess), Nice and cozy fireplace that made you feel very warm in winter time. There are microwave, vending machines, water boiler, green tea bag and instant coffee at the ground level. Highly recommend Naeba Spring Hotel. Definitely will come back!
