  Lunch Meal

  We went for Sunday dinner and were not disappointed. The menu is excellent, catering for all diets with interesting, innovative food. Little touches (sausage rolls and marshmallow icecream (obviously not together!!)) really made a difference. All the food was fabulous - tasty and delightfully presented. We shall be going again as soon as we are allowed. Staff are great, attentive and knowledgeable. All in all a great place for food.

  Incredible Food

  We heard the restaurant had recently reopened under new management so we booked in for a Friday evening. Service was good from the reception through to table service and also payment upon leaving; very welcoming and friendly but not over the top and in your face. Decor was fantastic, looks great but the real highlight was the food. Everything was cooked to perfection. Presented well, but tasted incredible. Good selection, good value, incredible taste. We will be booking again. One of the best meals out I've had in a long time.

  Incredible Food!!!

  Visited the restaurant on Friday night and the food was incredible. I had a burger - it was the best burger that I have ever tasted!!! There was a really good atmosphere in the restaurant and the staff were really attentive. We will definitely be back!!

  Excellent food & service

  My wife and I visited on Thursday evening and were certainly impressed. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very welcoming bar area with a warm, roaring fire. The drink selection was excellent, with an interesting gin menu and local ales on offer. We chose the house red to enjoy with our meal a delicious Malbec. The meal itself was a real treat. I started with the hot smoked salmon whilst my wife enjoyed the marinated heritage tomato and goats cheese salad, followed by the venison from the specials board for both of us. We then shared the cheese board to finish. It was all wonderfully presented and very impressive for the price. Throughout the evening the staff were great; attentive, professional and very personable they really brought the dining room to life. The restaurant was fresh, modern and very well spaced with well-placed screens so as to be COVID-safe. Well look forward to returning with the rest of the family.

  The food was on a different level, tasted incredible!

  My partner and I stayed over for 1 night. The lady on reception was friendly and polite and check-in was quick and smooth. The hotel looked and smelt brand new as it has just had a full refurb. The room was a good size, looked good and felt cozy. I was't quite prepared for how much I'd enjoy the evening dinner in the restaurant. The quality and taste of the food was on a totally different level to anything I'd ever tasted before, it was incredible! The whole meal was perfect and we had a bottle of prosecco too. We had a really peaceful sleep and the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast menu and food was really good and filled us up. We will definitely be back as the food is to god to not taste again and overall it was a really relaxed night away. The hotel had all rules in place because of covid-19, masks had to be worn in public areas. The hotel had screens up in the restaurant and there was lots of had signage everywhere to remind everyone of social distancing etc. We look forward to coming back in the future.
