  Excelente Resort ubicado en el bosque de Belice y junto al río, en el cual puedes navegar en kayak hará San Ignacio. Instalaciones muy bonitas y muy bien cuidadas. Si llevas automóvil, un lugar muy conveniente para desplazarte a los lugares turísticos del centro-poniente de Belice. Si no llevas coche, es un poco complicado moverte por tí mismo, ya que está considerablemente fuera de San Ignacio, aunque tiene muchos tours para moverte con guía. Muy recomendable

  Extraordinary Experience

  25 years ago I came through this part of Belize, and was so excited to bring my family to the jungle, and we could not have had a better experience! My family LOVED stating at Mystic River... the setting is so idyllic, the food was fantastic, the service was as good as it gets. Waking up in the morning mist while my family slept, I walked the property every morning, found solitude on the yoga deck, had coffee ready for me, everyone knew my name, and everyone was so interested in us and helpful in crafting our plans for adventure. The staff was in total sync with our family and our goals to experience the Mayan culture, and they had great ideas for things we could do that we hadn't even expected. I want to add that we had to reschedule our trip originally because of Covid, and the communication and execution around this process was so clear, so refreshing, and so effective when it could've been a mess. And the little things really matter - I mean they cleaned and dried our muddy shoes, had little surprises for my kids, they always brought us extra banana bread, and the totality of the trip - it was a home run. And my goodness was it quiet... so tranquil. My whole family was sad when we left, and for me, as a father who wants to introduce my family to new cultures and experiences, it was a dream come true.

  Jewel in the Jungle

  If you are looking for a stand alone full service resort of rustic elegance in a great location to do jungle tours or just hang out, look no further. We arrived amid the COVID protocol in February 2021. We found the place to be updated, well curated, fresh and fully functional. Not once did we hear the phrase because of COVID we cant do....... Thank you Petra and staff! The grounds of this eco resort blend into the jungle on the Macal River beautifully. The rooms lack nothing and the balconies over looking the River are a very nice touch. The morning coffee by the fire was especially enjoyed. We were on the food plan and the chef was outstanding at every meal. Steve, the bar tender and waiter was very fun and on the spot. The service was impeccable, booking tours, massages, coordinating transfers, etc. Rarely do you leave a place without some sort of oops, we left there with nothing but accolades and feeling pretty special. A special shout out to Abi, our guide for the trip. He was outstanding and really made every adventure go seamlessly, and the man can drive a four wheeler! Our only regret was not just hanging out at the resort for a day experiencing all they had to offer on site! Their COVID protocol is excellent in case youre wondering.

  Mystic, beautiful and relaxing

  At the beginning of February My family had the opportunity to stay at this hotel , everything was top notch from accommodations, grounds and food, staff is very attentive and professional always ready to go the extra mile to make your stay flawless, thank you to everyone for the excellent service specially during this pandemic, staff follows safety and health protocols to keep everyone safe, we felt safe at all times. Thank you to everyone for such wonderful experience, We cant wait to visit again.

  Wonderful resort!

  My husband and I went to Belize to bring our daughters that we adopted home. We were in Belize almost 2 weeks with our 4 new daughters. We spent that time at the Mystic River Resort. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The staff was so friendly and helpful. When new COVID testing procedures went into affect for flying into the US, they found a nearby facility to do this for us and made all the arrangements. They went above and beyond our expectations in so many ways. And the setting was absolutely beautiful. We ate our meals in their open air restaurant. The meals were delicious and they were very accommodating of all our special orders. We enjoyed watching the many birds. Our daughters loved the pool, and our cottage was very comfortable! Mystic River Resort will forever be a part of our adoption story.
