Good for biz stayThe hotel is quite new and I think rooms in this hotel are bigger than other same range hotels. The hotel is clean. Half of my stay I had issue with internet speed and I couldnt have FaceTime without any disconnecting when I asked why internet is not good, the reception gave a router and I was wondering why from the beginning they didnt give. So from the beginning ask for router. The breakfast that is served is only Japanese and only I had sandwiches that they have. The hot spring and sauna are good and clean.

Didn't Exceed My Expectations But Still Very GoodThe location of this hotel is right beside an exit of Kanda Station on the Ginza Line (this specific exit opens at 7AM and closes around 9PM, plan ahead) but quite a walk from JR Kanda Station (which where I came from). It's a convenient 5 minute or so walk to the busier part of Akihabara. My single room was bigger than expected but with no bath. I had to shower at the women's onsen area. The bed was wonderful! I didn't want to get out. What I like about Dormy Inn chain is you can use their washing machine for free and Y100/20mins for the dryer at the female onsen area. You can check on your TV if someone is using the washer and dryer at real time. All amenities such as hair ties, brushes, cotton buds/pads, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. are available at the onsen area. I must have misread their info on TV that they serve free beer until 21:30 but when I went up before that time, it was already closed at 21:00. Then finally read in the elevator that the free beer was really just until 21:00. But it was okay, I did enjoy their free half bowl of midnight noodles! I got to breakfast the next day after a small misunderstanding about the inclusion in my booking. Breakfast selection was limited but of good quality. The tempura was delicious.

Good location, clean rooms and great serviceWe stayed here two nights, our room was on the side of the hotel where you could hear the subway trains early in the morning, but it didn't bother us too much. The staff were exceptionally nice and accommodating to us. The room was smaller than others we stayed at in Japan, but had lots of shelves and spaces to put bags and clothes on to keep them out of the way and off the floor.

Excellent family stayAnother great Dormy in experience. Twin room had larger beds that could fit the four of us comfortably. Friendly front desk staff and good extras like late night ramen and welcome drinks. We also enjoyed the public bath and made use of laundry facilities. Close to the action and next to a convenience store. A bit further out for JR Kanda station but still good location. Train noise was intermittent but not too bad. Recommended stay for the price.

Terrible service - Be WarnedPartly my fault in mistakenly booked for 1 instead of 2. Be extra careful when booking. Had to pay 50% extra for 2 person BUT BUT, can't change booking via on line booking, had to re-book AND lose original payment. BAD End up having to pay extra US$60!!! per night, NO Breakfast With that, was given a room the same size as for 1 person. Robbery? No allowance given at the front desk and no help given - absurd! Furthermore, room cleaning is extra $15 per day - should have mentioned in website Website Extremely bad experience. NOT RECOMMENDED
