  Muy recomendable

  MI familia se ha quedado en este hotel repetidas veces y en cada una, nos hemos ido más contentos que en la anterior. El desayuno es excelente, para dedicarle una hora. Las habitaciones -por lo menos las que ellos tomaron- grandes, bien decoradas y cómodas. La calle, agradable y tranquila. El Hof, en verano, precioso. Los espacios comunes, muy bien armados. El personal, agradable y atento. Es un hotel con muy buena atención. Detalle: para quienes viven en el barrio y reciban huéspedes, hay descuento por ser del vecindario.

  Wonderful "Wondebah"

  My wife and I stayed at Myer's Hotel in Berlin from 2 March to 6 March 2020 and it was terrific. The room was very nicely furnished in classic furniture, the beds were very comfortable, and the breakfasts were plentious with something for everyone. The staff was very helpful and the view from our 4th f room was excellent, with the top of the Park Hotel and the TV Tower clearly visible. We bought the Berlin Welcome Card and took the light rail a block from the front door to Alexanderplatz where we connected with the S-Bahn and U-Bahn to go anywhere in greater Berlin, including the Berlin Hbf with ease. We will definitely stay at the Myer's Hotel in future trips to Berlin.

  A touch of old world elegance

  You really wonder what you are getting yourself into upon arrival at Myers Hotel Berlin. Access to the first floor reception desk is via a creaky lift if you dont want to drag your bags up the front steps. Inside its a bit like an English gentlemans loungeroom all polished wood and huge fireplaces. Formalities were soon over and we were heading for room 42 this time in a new lift. The touch of old world elegance evident in the foyer extends to the smallish room all the furniture is hand made the desk in particular is superb. No complaints though plenty of power points, safe at the right height, USB plugs over the desk and excellent bedside lighting. You reach in to operate the hand held/rain shower make a mistake and a cold blast of water awaits. The property is surprisingly quiet given we were a walk away from the port office tower. Breakfast was excellent. All in all we were very happy with the property which, by the way, I discovered was built originally as an apartment block.

  Comfortable and clean

  Well appointed hotel, centrally located, in the middle of the hip Prenzlauer Berg district, comfortable bed, good breakfast. Soap dispenser at wash basin as well as in the shower, which I thought a bit odd. Doesn't feel right to wash hair with hand soap, unlike with shampoo. Generally friendly and welcoming staff. No parking onsite, but free at street side with hotel voucher, no problem. Pretty good value.

  This is good, yah?

  Really didn't think we'd get to come on this trip after our flights were cancelled, but we moved it to Gatwick and continued with the trip. Fairly easy to find even with the self transfer from TXL Airport. You walk into a lovely lobby thats filled with character, lots of wood & Leather seats. The check in took no time at all, and we were even given a larger room than booked. Our room was perfect (23), over looked the rear of the hotel gardens and patio. The shower was extremely refreshing after long days pounding the streets of Berlin, nice complimentary toiletries supplied and good quality towels. I supose what the room lacks is a kettle, but I didn't mind having a cold beer instead. They have a fully stocked mini bar in the room should you decide to fancy a tipple. You are given a form that you are to fill in each day for the next days breakfast, the breakfast were lovely, nice breads, meats, fruits all served to your table, we found it funny that even though we ordered the same breakfast daily, we never got the same, for some reason, they always forgot our boiled egg, but others received theirs (not a complaint btw) You are close enough to the centre of Berlin, but far enough away, the neighbourhood is lovely, lots of streets filled with lovely restaurants, its been fantastic to be able to eat out on the pavements. Due to our flights being switched, we now had a much later flight, this would have meant having 9 hours to kill after checking out, but a word with the boss, he allowed us to keep the room on for free (THANK YOU). We would return here in a heartbeat.
