Flexible and Helpful service
I went here with my family for a vacation during the summer on a 2-night special promotion package. The place was nice and was very close to the beach which was very helpful to us as we went every morning. The food was great because it included both traditional Vietnamese food and a little bit of Western food; the menu also changed daily for the morning buffet. Everyone always smiles and offers to help and to chat when it was convenient for us. They also offered to help us look at popular and fun venues and events on the island. We had a little problem and confusion with the booking of our stay but the manager Hung handled it swiftly and made sure we were most helped. 100% recommended.

Good Trip!
It is suitable for guests who like a quiet holiday. A little distance from the lively downtown. There are several small restaurants to eat for 5 minutes. The room is clean. Have a comfortable pool. A small beach next to the Novotel. It is very convenient to have a car transfer. The hotel staff is particularly good. There is a staff at the counter who can speak simple Chinese. There is a free airport transfer. The night market shuttle needs to be booked in advance. The towels provided by the pool must be taken with the bar. Breakfast is OK too.

New Years eve stay
What I Thought would be an amazing new years eve stay here ended up being quiet and drab. Hotel is definitely not the 5 star luxury that am used too. Hotel is also not very accommodating as we required a bit of a late check out at least 1pm...but they didnt budge..yet they took 30 mins to check us out when they said 5 mins... breakfast was buffet but more western dishes should be catered and takes time for stations to be refilled. English is a problem... reception staff dont really understand what you ask... tip..have google translate... also..its far off from town..so consider staying closer if u want to be in town every day..though there is a shuttle from the hotel but booking is required..

Value for money
We stayed at the hotel during New Year and we had a great time. All though it states Luxury hotel, we know for a fact that a Luxury Hotel in Vietnam or other countries in this area has not the same meaning as in Western Europe. This said, the hotel would be rated in Europe as a 3-star hotel. This said: The hotel is value for money!!! We had a good time and would come back. The hotel arranged a New Year buffet dinner at the pool, which we joined. They really did a great job, to make it a great evening: buffet, build a stage, live music, local dancing, count down etc. Sadly, many of the guests left after having buffet, which was a pity. At midnight we were only a few people left. Some guests are not very polite to the staff or have consideration for other guests. We have experienced this not only here but also on other trips to Egypt or Thailand. And it is a bid sad. We are guests in another country and should be polite and behave. I admire the staff that have to put up with these types of bad guests. Pros: Very friendly staff Rooms were clean Breakfast buffet was OK, both European and Asian stations available Safety box in the room 2 free bottle of water each day Welcome Fruit Plate Nice pool area Close to the beach it takes about 5 mins. to walk, alternatively take the free buggy ATM machine nearby Mini Marts nearby Sustainability: oOptions to have new sheets daily or not oOptions to have new towels every day or not Only 15-20 mins ride to the town (about VND 250.000 for a ride) Cons: The staff has very poor English knowledge, which results in misunderstanding and the use of Google Translate is very often needed. The breakfast restaurant has a really bad acoustic and lighting. Its like being in a supermarket with a lot of people. The staff has trouble keeping up with refilling the stations According to the hotel they have 3 bars, and it was very disappointing that we couldnt get a drink at the Rooftop bar before dinner or after dinner: oRooftop bar was not available during our stay oCoral bar was not available during our stay oPool bar only open during the day Drinks card at the Pool Bar: oMany items were not available. If you are a Luxury hotel you need to be able to provide special types of coffee, like Americano, Cappuccino etc. Only black coffee was available oEven to get a glass of wine was not possible Any reason why all the outdoors lights are turned off at 23h00 in the evening, from that point on, the hotel looks like a ghost building. Is this standard in Vietnam? Cleaning times of the rooms are changing from day to day. Sometimes they want to clean already at 09.00 in the morning. And other days vey late in the afternoon between 15.00 or 16.00.

Should be 3-star hotel
Location was good, quite far from the downtown but close to the beach, only 150m. Room was old, quite simple but spacious. Sound proofing was an issue as guests who came back to the hotel at night made noise and we could hear them loudly. Breakfast was boring.
