  AMABILIDAD POR DOQUIER

  Es un Hotel entrañable con todas las comodidades. Su ubicación al lado del rio y un parque lo hace muy tranquilo pero a la vez accesible. Yo me alojé en una habitación doble de uso con vistas al rio, que era grande y con todo tipo de comodidades.

  Good choice

  The breakfast buffet was good (not outstanding) , like in every hotel. The room was comfortable, big enough and silent. Wifi signal was avarge in the room. The bathroom was clean. There is also a swimmig pool in the hotel.

  Okay all over....but... I am so sorry!!

  Well in the spa the personal with towels are not there - no towels - bring your own and also slippers - there are none at your 5star hotel - and we could nok book a massage, as no one was there in the spa reception ........ but the worst was, in the little bar! ..just next to the reception. We (husband and I) are sitting outside in the little bar, and I ordered at "karry-wurst -, we have been hiking all day, and I got a littl' hungry this late afternoon 12.10.2019, 16.50 - before going out for dinner.... The bartender on this afternoon, said to me: "are you sure you want to order this "karry wurst" - I said yes! He said: "there could come some rain, and I will NOT help you inside with your plate and wurst". Okay, I said, I will help my self......I am so sorry! But this is not how at FIVE star Hotel bar personal should respond! Awfull! At that time we were 3!!! persons in the small bar!! He was not busy at all!! ..... I am sorry....but not really a 5star hotel... ..well loved the reception girl!!

  Wonderful stay

  It wasn't our first choice for a hotel in the Harz but we are happy we choose it in the end. It's located on the edge of the spa town next to a mountain river with the mountains on the opposite side. Hotel has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Staff is helpful and friendly. With some minor exceptions of a few staff but that has been handled upon our complaints. The rooms are OK, not modern but not too old. On the edge. Beds are super comfortable and rooms are quiet. The hotel atmosphere is nice, like a mountain hotel. Hotel is family owned and the family work in the hotel. Even doing cleaning. One big negative is no A/C units in the rooms!! Breakfast is OK. It's good but nothing fresh or even local. Very generic. But taste is good and even though there's no buffet (because of Corona) you won't leave the table hungry. Facilities like the swimming pools and bar/lounge area are very nice! Bar staff extremely professional and friendly. Parking is free and plenty of space. If you have an electric car like we do and you want to charge it there's a public charging pole around 10 minute walk from the hotel and less than 5 minutes from the city center. Charging is free, parking as well. The hotel offers charging as well but via regular AC/DC in their parking garage for a whopping 15 per day! So extremely slow and quite expensive. This is our second German hotel like that, perhaps German mindset (land of fossil fuel car manufacturers)? All in all we definitely recommend this hotel if you like to be pampered and want relaxation. We definitely did.

  Ok hotel but it is not a 5 star hotel. Average breakfast, big clean room but no atmosphere. The shower was repaired by duck tape. The pools was ok but not eve thing wasnt working. The restaurant was to expensive and the food was ordi All and all it only a
