  Amazing hotel in beautiful surroundings, perfect place to relax and explore Maryland

  We stayed here for two nights, and honestly we were sad to leave such a wonderful place so early. From the moment we arrived the staff were wonderful - so welcoming, helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. The air conditioning in the rooms was great, which was a necessity due to the hot weather! The beds were a great size, though the mattresses were very soft (though I think in Europe we are used to firmer mattresses). The balcony was lovely and a perfect place to sit. Breakfast was served in the conference centre next door, and there was a good selection of breakfast food. This worked on a card system which had a standard amount, thought there was the option to pay extra if you wanted more food. The amount on the card was perfect for a good breakfast, so we didn't need to pay extra. On the weekend, breakfast was served in the hotel, with a nice selection of pastries and fruits for a decent continental breakfast. The location of the hotel was perfect, very close to Mt Washington Village and the light rail if you wanted to travel into Baltimore city centre. There was a shuttle service that took you down into the village, which was great. As we are able bodied we could walk the short distance into Mt Washington fine. We enjoyed the green, peaceful surroundings and exploring the village. Overall, a very relaxing place to stay, with great facilities, excellent staff and lovely rooms. We would love to stay here again in the future.

  So Peaceful So Beautiful

  I have stayed a resorts but they can't touch this place. It is so peaceful and quiet. All six days were great . Every staff member was professional, helpful, nice and friendly. The experience was great from the front desk to the time we left. There were so many amenities to enjoy. The breakfast is great. Be sure and get muffins to take home. You will miss them. Sharon in the cafeteria is a sweetheart. We visited Washington twice so the location is great for sightseeing to other places. Use the shuttle service. The entire grounds is absolutely beautiful.This place is great for families. I felt totally safe.There are so many places to picnic. Parking is free. I will vacation here again.

  Comfortable and convenient

  We stayed at the Mt. Washington Conference Center in April of 2019 while we were in the area for a family event. We had previously stayed in a suite in the Octagon building, but this time stayed in the main hotel. The hotel was comfortable, well located, and convenient.

  Quaint and Convenient

  Check in was a breeze, room nice with a small balcony over looking very nice court yard. We were there for a game. The location was great for our purposes for city adventure and local shopping/eating.

  Dirty

  The location is great! We are disappointed that our experience was so bad. This was a great location for Loyola University and we were hoping to have spent lots of nights here over the next four years. We checked in to find our room was filthy! Garbage on the balcony and in the closet. The carpets were stained and dirty looking. We then looked closely at the "made beds" and there were coffee stains all over the sheet and at least 10 strands of hair in the bed. We obviously complained and the front desk looked at the room and right away agreed it was never cleaned. We were then moved to another room which was half the size with the carpet still filthy and the tub was gross with stains. When I checked out the next morning I once again stated how we were unhappy and they took our number and said someone would call that day. It is now 11 days later and still never heard from them.
