Ask for BaconI sometimes meet human friends here for drinks. They have free skittles anyone can have so i eat them. Sometimes the bartenders give me pieces of bacon too. Its all free if you keep drinking. When i'm tired of sitting at the bar I can relax on one of their sofas

Cramped DisappointmentI would have rather stayed at a Motel Six. No closets, no lotion/moisturizer, no room service, no cups for water. Room was cramped and we paid extra for a city view only to stare directly into the office building within the same block. If you cant offer a view, cool, but dont charge me extra for something that doesnt exist. The best part was the pet friendly policy that charged $50 extra yet couldnt even offer a water dish. When I went back down to the front desk to ask for a water bowl and cups for my gf and I, the best they could give me for my dog was a giant mixing bowl. Im not high maintenance, I grew up poor, this place is just a rip off.

Stylish place to stayThe room was very small. The bed took up the entire room. No closet space or drawers. Very convenient location. Downstairs is nice and set up for bumble spot meet ups, as well as a bar and tables for people who are looking to work on their laptops outside of their room. The place is very stylish and very well kept. The room was clean, the bathroom is spacious, as well as the shower. I would recommend for couples, or friends. Not so much for a family.

DisappointedI have stayed in multiple MOXY's across Europe in the past couple years. After having explained my stays to my wife, we decided to try out the MOXY in Seattle so she could experience the unique atmosphere. Unfortunately, we stayed during COVID restrictions, which meant the Registration Desk / Bar did not serve drinks. None at all. I knew they would not have the fabulous German beers, but I expected the bar to be open. We walked to a couple of local watering holes for drinks instead. The room was the same as the European counter-parts. Small and efficient. There was no breakfast. Again, another disappointment.

Newer hotel with basic amenitiesThis hotel is in Seattle's South Lake Union neighborhood. There is a loading zone out front that you can use for check-in parking. However, I am not sure if there is a parking garage or not b/c I parked my car at my friends nearby place. The front desk agent was great. He was very efficient and friendly. Note, the front desk is located behind the bar. There is not a conventional front desk area. I paid an escalated price to get a bigger room. However, please note the rooms in this hotel are already quite small. So an upgrade is not saying much. The rooms are modern and basic. There isnt any plush amenities. The room had a nice bathroom, a microwave, and large flat screen. Ironing board is in the hallway to share with the floor. I didnt end up using the other hotel common areas, but there was a game room in the lobby and a bar. Some things are limited and closed at this hotel during the pandemic. This hotel is best for students or business travelers who do not require a standard hotel room. It sort of reminds me of a hip college dorm lol. Anyhow, if you stay here the location is good. It is a walk to downtown or Capitol Hill, but you have mostly everything you need right in SLU. Starbucks is one block away along with a handful of restaurants.
