  es un buen hotel en general

  es un buen hotel para viajes de negocios. Las camas son excelentes. El restaurante está bien. personalmente no me gustan las cortinas de la bañera y la moqueta en el suelo. El servicio es bastante normal, deberían cuidar más a los clientes.

  Very quiet hotel if staying mid week

  Hotel was exceptionally quiet during our visit, we were the only people in the hotel for lunch. Decors in lobby is a little dated but rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. Hotel is clean. Location is good for walking into town - there was a dinosaur trail around Bochum at the time we visited.

  Exceeded expectations

  Well managed high standard hotel in a nice neighborhood. Clean, quiet and efficient. Good rooms. Parking included. Restaurant with excellent a la carte options and regional specialties. Would happily stay here again. Only one suggestion - provide at least 1 complimentary bottle of water in the room.

  The worst of hotels in Germany!

  I was hosted last week for business issues and the photos they show on their website is a real "scam" I should be more honest and put the real photos of how that Hotel is! A very impolite man shouting at the ladies who do the cleaning in the corridors that give to the rooms and then taking pictures. ......very bad taste!! The curtains in my room were dirty and in very bad condition and the furniture .... it seems that this hotel has never been renovated! Me and my colleagues who also stayed at this hotel got a bad impression because their rooms also had the same problemsThe desk in my room was broken. Old carpet and completely full of stains! Bedding in very bad condition and old pillows and in very bad condition! The sofa in my room had a visible hole The air conditioning doesn't work! The TV control doesn't work! The dirty and rusty minibar inside The details shown in the photos of the rooms don't exist! The bathroom? very bad impression! very bad! The buffet breakfast is nothing spectacular and for that price it is a "scam" Unfriendly and hostile restaurant service staff except for a lady who attended us very professionally. The manager of the Bar or Restaurant is a spoiled one because he doesn't care that there are customers in the bar to shout at the staff! The reception staff is very friendly, with the exception of a young man, with punk and blond hair very rude! How is it possible that Renaissance and Marriott offer such services?

  On the Convoy site one should be truthful

  Booked an Executive room - arrived late at the hotel - Got the room - which is smaller than some normal rooms in other Renaissance Hotels ! Not at all Executive style ! Small room although on the 7th floor. Window cannot be opened - Ugh !!!! Stayed here due to the fact I wanted to be in Gelsenkirchen the next day - but next time I will stay at the Maritim - A world of difference. Restaurant closed - again the COVID excuse - but across the road - a super Italian Restaurant - at least this made my day.
