Avoid it for business/family tripI regret that I didnot read reviews here before booking. This is definitely not a place for business or family trip. With $300+ per night, the hotel is far below expectation. The room is small, which they brand as smart but also dirty! There is trash maybe from previous guest on the floor. The hair dryer has weird smell when turning on. You can see light from hallway from the door which means you can also hear everything from the hallway. I got wake up by peoples walking in the morning. The staff is friendly though. Smart should be high quality but not just a concept to pull everything from guests. Will definitely avoid here when visiting Atlanta next time. There are many other choices for $300+ night rate.

Trying a bit too hardI have occasion to visit Atlanta and sometimes the Moxy is the more affordable option for me. The rooms are comfortable and clean but it is far from my favorite Midtown stop. Almost seems like someone from Marriott corporate Marketing decided to make a "hip" hotel. Almost seems like it is trying too hard to be the hip place with the loud music and check in at the bar. Not a bad place if you need to stay, but not my top selection.

Jeremy @ the front desk! What an amazing personality, Jeremy was amazing! At check-in not only did he have great conversation, he also made sure I felt welcome there at the property. I'm a new fan of Moxy so I highly recommend this location, love this staff!!

Very nice updated and stylish hotelI really liked the hotel and enjoyed my stay there. I was traveling during Coronavirus Pandemic Time, so the hotel was completely empty, and all its facilities were closed. As I understood, only one floor was open for visitors. The day I checked-in (check-in was located inside the AC Hotel, the other side of the same building where Moxy hotel is). I got an early check-in and I was able to get into my room at 10 a.m., already. The desk person was super nice, and when I asked for a room with the best city view they have, she gave me this room (#701). Finally I had pretty good view. The only one negative thing with this story was the walk to my room. I had to basically walk the entire floor to reach my room, it was on the corner. So my room was ideally clean, updated and stylish. Its size could be a little bigger, but it was not the issue at all for me. I felt very comfortable in my room. The bed was nice and also very comfortable. The bathroom was very small, but the shower stall was pretty big. I really liked the bathroom amenities. They were of a very good quality. Also I fell in love with the pink hair dryer! It was so cute! Wi-Fi was very fast. I also liked the door Do not disturb sign which had a super sexy picture of a guy. And the phone in my room was vintage style, which I also loved. The area around the hotel is really nice (Midtown of Atlanta is the best area to stay in the city). There are a lot of bars, restaurants and shops around (everything was closed during my stay unfortunately). I totally recommend this hotel for staying in Atlanta. You will enjoy it!

All experiences at this hotel were subparI understand there is a global pandemic but all experiences at this hotel were subpar and none of the missing services were made known after booking multiple nights in Atlanta. Parking is advertised as on premises. But what is explicitly not advertised is that parking will cost you $28 per night. Additionally, understanding how to initially park is a guessing game when you first arrive. Expect no refrigerator, and a complete lack of room service, including no fresh towels, bedsheets and no garbage pickup. None of this is ever communicated when you arrive and is definitely not on their booking site. Staff is friendly but often absent and unknowledgeable. No number to call guest services is ever given and even after finding said number, staff is often absent or inattentive. The thermostat gives the illusion of control but in reality, one needs to ask staff to manually change the temperature, and even then, expect nothing to change. On a positive note the rooftop bar area and pool is nice.
